NPL National finals series could be more than likely be delayed a few weeks due to the fact 2018 NPL VICTORIA finals will be overlapping both NPL national elimination finals weekend (September 15-16) and NPL national semi finals weekend (September 22-23) due to the fact 2018 NPL VICTORIA regular season that doesn't finish until Sunday September 2nd.

As the 2018 NPL VICTORIA finals schedule is as follows:
Elimination Finals - weekend of September 7-8-9
Semi Finals - weekend of September 14-15-16 (same weekend as NPL national elimination finals as it stands)
Grand Final - Sunday September 23rd at AAMI Park (same weekend as NPL national semi finals as it stands)
