+xDear Mr Anastasiadis, instead of complaining to the wider world, why don't you ask your clubs board to do a better job! It's all well and good to lay the blame elsewhere, but in reality, the A League clubs can't do it all. If you think the young NPL players you have could be top class, then get your board to make the club fully professional and pay the players enough so they can train and play full time. Really????? You do understand, sorry that should be you don't understand, that without an open pyramid system there is no financial or aspirational advantage to satisfy the investment required to change the status of a club to the level you suggest. To make such a comment as yours', in isolation of and lack of knowledge of, the restrictions placed on the next level down (that would be the NPL) in comparison to A-league regulatory conditions, make your comments nothing other than disingenuous. Yet on some level you have to ask if a franchise such as the Wellington Phoenix would be better off being a semi-professional operation as the financial losses generated from being a "professional" operation is actually "wasted" on them. Finally your underhanded attempt to discredit John Anastasiadis's reputation is distasteful to say the least, please raise your standards of commentary, your standing and credibility within this Community continues in this downward spiral hitting the bottom of the barrel.
