If the vote gets up and we get an independent A-League Optus to broadcast the A-League... how many games I don't know.

Any estimate on what they would pay? I assume it would still be shared with FOX coverage?

From what he told me, it was a kinda swap, EPL games for A-League games, with cash to FFA and a lot more than 10. He is a senior exc but in a technical part of the business so I guess its water cooler talk among senior excs... as I said take it for what it is but my client got it spot on re the EPL.

Would be good if it was a joint deal with FOX i love Optus' coverage of the EPL

If it is a straight swap I think it could be a bad thing. What % of the population has Optus? I myself dont have it and I dont plan on getting it just for HAL.

Unless the money is doubled for Optus, but games need to be shown on FTA

I subscribed to FOX for the new A League season and am already pissed at how archaic their service is compared to Optus.
