Aussie Test quicks Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins have bowled 25 overs between them in their red ball comeback. The sooner both are firing up for the Blues the better.

One of the umpires in the Blues v SA game has missed two plumb LBs by my naked eye.

Abbot was hyped as the next big thing in all rounders at one stage. Today he is batting last drop for the Blues.

+xAussie Test quicks Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins have bowled 25 overs between them in their red ball comeback. The sooner both are firing up for the Blues the better. I was hoping no one noticed the performance of 2 of our Australian bowling attack against the Tasmanian 2nd eleven, with the Tasmanians scoring 600 runs only losing 14 wickets. Hazlewood 22 overs 1/42 Cummins 23 overs 3/63 Not an inspiring performance. You would expect an international attack would tear a sub 1st class side apart. If they weren't who they are they would not be elevated to the NSW side. Especially when young Alex Pyecroft took 4/15 showing there was enough in the wicket for bowlers. With the poor performance of Starc currently in Pakistan we do need miracles soon. Who is the current bowling back up???? M Marsh.....surely 30 tests for him is enough, can't bat, can't bowl.....but lets make him VC. Let's bring Copeland back. Gabe Bell is going from strength to strength.

Tassie squandering its big lead.
Should have enforced the follow on perhaps as this Gabba green top is still doing plenty on the third day.

I signed out of my last forum mate as it was jinxed.. too many nongs and trolls. DC. I asked the question on Test thread if Australia had bowlers of the ilk of Philander and Abbas. yes we do one Trent Copeland. But because he does bot bowl at 140kph our brainless selectors wont pick him.

I've met his grandparents in the members. Recently he has improved. We certainly need a bowler who can bowl with an economy of action and whose body does not break down through having great stress on the body when they bowl. We have five bowlers who can all bowl over 140 kph, even at times reaching 150kph - Stanlake, Pattinson, Starc, Cummins and Hazlewood. Yet they are rarely fit at the same time! The only time many of these were fit was i and English One Day series. The Aussie batters said it was hell in the nets facing Pattinson, Johnson, Starc and Cummins at the same time!

Copes nibbles it both ways just enuff to beat the bat. He would be sensational on a deck like this UAE one ..sadly there arent any similar in Australian domestic cricket. You can have Stanlake.. overated for mine. Another who I rate and is no slouch is Jhye Richardson. If memory serves I read he was the quickest bowler ever at the DK Lillee Pace Academy.
