Stajcic was not sacked for any toxic culture.
If 25 current Matildas privately contact Stajcic with support and the captain says there is no toxic culture..There is no toxic culture!

If disgruntled players outside the Matildas and even a few secretly within the Matildas have an axe to grind..That is not Toxic Culture.

So Gallop and the board effectively sacked Stajcic for nothing to do with Football and nothing to do with culture and ..there is no smoking gun(one of the board memebrs confirmed this)

First couple of paragraphs make interesting reading.

It does seem that there was a particular board member with an axe to grind and the balance of the board were too stupid/weak to see what was happening.  Amazing the amount of damage that has been done to the Matilda brand and Stajcic's personal and professional life.

Justice for Staj, hope all of the FFA board resign from this real mess.

Just ruined a man's reputation and don't know if he can get it back because of unknown reasons.

All of the goodwill of the Matildas is taken away.

Need the court case (if is one) to reveal what exactly what went wrong. Then I'm sure his reputation would be perfect.

But until that happens its in tatters, obviously, or he wouldn't even bother. He said it has effected his family, his kids, which is the reason this type of sacking should never happen really. 

Just watched the conference. I hope he sues the FFA and any journalists who insinuated that he was dodgy. Even if he doesn't carry it through, hopefully the threat alone means we get some resignations from the board, and some public apologies from those journalists.

Alen played it perfectly this morning.  Stayed on-message the whole time.  Request full investigation but makes no accusations of his own - thus ensuring that he's not influencing the investigation...  He wants the whole truth out there because he knows he has nothing to hide.  Right now there's a couple of figures at the FFA, and a couple of Matildas players, burying their heads under the blankets and hoping this will all go away...  And it won't.

Stajcic’s career has been trashed. He wil likely never coach again and the mental toll on him and his family has been huge. And what for?
Stajcic does now seem to have the upper hand legally and I imagine will not settle for anything less than a full statement of apology and admission of wrongdoing by the FFA. Similarly, apologies and withdrawals of earlier undounded statements from certain board directors and journalists are on the cards.

I agree. I don't know the bloke so I wasn't sure if his constant refusal to take any bait and bad mouth others was a reflection of his character, or simply legal advice (or both). But he handled himself extremely well.

I bet Chris Nikou is coping an earful from the FFA sponsors this very moment.

Yeah important to remember you are just an observer, you can't effect the outcome. I feel for those involved its no better than Jury Duty, a tedious , chringeworthy process. Laywers and Judge will just go through there normal checklists , although those courts these days. Hard to trust with the top end of things. More than likely sway the direction of the 'community supporter' being FFA. Load of bs
