+x“Dino Djulbic is set to re-sign at Perth Glory as the club scramble to fill their depleted defensive stocks” covert agent on twitter Whhhhhhyyy. If true that's confirmation that Spira has no intention of coming back. Depending on how injuries go hopefully he won't be needed to be called on.

Dunno if this has been mentioned, but TWG has Joe Caletti in Norway’s 2nd Div.

+xDunno if this has been mentioned, but TWG has Joe Caletti in Norway’s 2nd Div. He plays for Floro in the Norwegian third division. He actually made his debut last night and scored in the first minute.

Dead quiet on the Sainsbury front. Nothing about Juric or Jedinak either.

You don’t think the most recent Socceroo captain coming back to the league will bring excitement? Surely trolling

+xDead quiet on the Sainsbury front. Nothing about Juric or Jedinak either. i thought he was given the option to leave on a free rather then it being locked in. he could try and stick it out and work his way into the team. this article says that no replacements at PSV have been identified as of yet https://www.ed.nl/psv/psv-denkt-mee-bij-vertrek-sainsbury-en-luckassen~a236bc091/?referrer=https://www.google.com/i think he still has another year on his contract

Yeah I personally wouldn't get excited if Jedinak came here. A Socceroos legend, leader and top professional no doubt, but honestly not the kind of player needed in the HAL (or at least as a first 11 player). And to be honest, it's not even necessarily just because of his age (though if he was 31, I'd be okay with it). Mile has always been a true "hustle and bustle" kind of player. Physical presence with a lot of strength and a fantastic engine, but very slow, a poor first touch and pretty ordinary passing range. Penalties aside, I thought he had a poor world cup. In addition to breaking up play (which he does well), he can obviously pop up with the occasional worldie free kick or long range effort, but I think the league has moved on from his style of play. And one would assume that if he came to the HAL, he'd be expecting pretty decent coin, so no thanks.

I'd love to get out and see him play. for the new franchise his leadership will be enormous in getting them off the ground. he might have slowed, but he will still be a stand out in our league.

Agree. We desperately need a DM as well. Hopefully Piet and the new owners splash the cash.

Saw Gianni Stensness in CCM's extended squad for tonight's FFA Cup clash. Has there been an announcement? Thought he was trialling abroad.

I think it's absolutely insane there are no suitors. I suppose no one knows his story like we do.

Looking at Maccabi Haifa's squad it appears Sainsbury would be quite a coup for the CB position. I like this move in the current circumstances.
