+xSo Jakobsen will be our captain next year, good player but surely a downgrade. Either him or Elsey. Both could be good leaders but they aren't the inspirational hero that Isaias is.

Roar to sign two visa strikers and are looking to offload D'Aggers. Victory, WSW and maybe Sydney need a backup striker. https://www.goal.com/en-au/news/the-covert-agent-fowler-shopping-around-young-socceroo-as-he/1jml3ytb0nshl1p74omqw6bzcm

YOU DECIDE
According to The World Game, the following clubs are interested in Aaron Mooy:
▪️ Wolves ▪️ West Ham United ▪️ Watford ▪️ Newcastle United ▪️ Southampton ▪️ Leicester City
Where do you think he should go? 🤔
Nothing particularly new but glad there are plenty of suitors. Watford would be good. Wolves have plenty of games available but it's such a good squad.
Southampton would be a decent destination.

Newcastle would be interesting now that it looks like the club has been sold. Benitez apparently has been a long-time admirer but would he still be interested if he has a lot more funds available to spend in the transfer market? Of course, it would be great if Mooy went there and played regularly in a much stronger team than Newcastle were last season.

CCM have apparently signed a new keeper. Hopefully it’s Duncan.
Edit: I was right the first time.

+x+x+xOsama Malik's Al-Batin side was relegated. If we decide to replace Isa with a local player, then I wouldn't be against bringing him back to AU. underrated player. imo one of the best DM's in the local game. very average CB though - and this is where city tried to slot him. he can do it in a pinch but he is wasted. if you are going to play a single #6 he is great for it. He is a good DM but did well at CB with us as well. I'd take him in a heartbeat tbh. We have a guy with almost 100 La Liga games under his belt, aged mid 20s, running around in the SA state league we could be looking at.

Jakobsen made the HAL team of the year while this guy was playing in the Spanish 3rd Division before joining Comets. We also only have 3 visa spots left (one of which may be wasted on a kid from the Chinese third division) and we need a DM, 10, striker and a LB. This guy just simply wouldn’t be a good signing for us but maybe handy for a club that has a spare visa spot.

He played nearly 100 games in La Liga and 20 in Europa League. Before last season he played Scotish Premiership. He might be kinda okay.
Isaias was playing in Spanish 3rd div before he came here.

Isaias was playing in Spanish 3rd div before he came here. Maxi Beister played plenty of Bundesliga games early in his career and look where he’s at now. I’m not saying that this guy is terrible, but if he still was the player he once was, then I highly doubt he’d be playing in the NPL at age 27. Also Isaias’s last season in Spain was in the second division.

If you need a L.B. it's worth noting this guy seems to have played most of his career in that position. Certainly that's where Bielsa played him until Valverde took over and dropped him. I know who's judgement out of those two managers I prefer.

+xAustralian left backs are in short supply, at least good ones True but Kitto was converted into one and did well. I want a youth or NPL left back to give him competition and backup. We also need a DM, AM and a striker as well. The latter two position have an even shorter supply of quality Australia players.
