Hoping degenek goes to a Germany/France or somewhere similar. I think he has showed he’s at that level. You’d have to say he’s our best defender we have at the moment. Between him and Ryan the only two you’d pencil onto the team sheet every time for Australia. 

At least Degenek played while in Saudi but I'm glad this saga will be over soon. I'm also slightly disappointed the move couldn't be to a higher league. They're in the CL qualifications and drew 0:0 in Lithuania. They'll need to navigate carefully and should ultimately face a massive opponent in a future round.

Playing every single week there is better than never playing in the Netherlands. He should be sharp.
