+x+x+xDoes Liga 3 mean Bl.3? At the end of the day, it’s a stepping stone and good on him! Yes. Reserve teams like Bayern U23 can play as high up as 3rd tier. It's really time to abolish this system. You think so? I think its good that there is a compromise, since the addition of the 3rd tier reserve teams are not allowed in the top two tiers. The U23 teams are still named as amateurs and don't have a 'professional' contract at the club. I think it goes against the definitions however because the U23 players surely get some kind of pay. It's just there are so many other clubs stuck in the 4th tier and then Bundesliga clubs such as Bayern, Wolfsburg, Mainz and Bremen have managed to gain promotion to the 3rd tier with their extensive resources.

There is only one reserve team in the 3rd Bundesliga. Also, players are very much professional and not restricted to U23s. The Bayern reserves have a 32 year old.

Yeah that's the contradiction of it all. They're named U23 yet recruit older players. It's essentially a feeder club. I'm just not a fan of them being in the 3rd tier. Regional 4th tier is fine. There might be changes within 5 years.

Yeah considering the shitfight it is to get out of the Regionalliga and the shit fight it has been to reform it, reserve teams should be nowhere near the 3. Liga.

+xWasnt someone complaining on here just a few days ago after Kubo signed for Real Madrid that the league wasnt having anyone like that sign for big clubs? If he was Australian it would be worth the argument but should we be striving for something like this anyway? Its different because he’s not Australian, but if he was we would be off the chops on here. Bayern Munich is a massive club the closest comparison would have to be Pasquali to Ajax but this is bigger in context. The fact of the matter we struggle to get their attention due to us not being able to qualify for these youth world cups and doing well in them which we have struggled with, but it would help if more aleague clubs played young players as well and see it as an investment! Exposure is the key to all of this. By the way you mention Kubo, Madrid are paying close to 1.2 million a year so it doesn’t compare between both but I get your point.

Kit sales on the subcontinent
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+xMeh, he's not ready, another Yeboah. Nix will get a tiny transfer fee and he'll play a handful of games in the Bulli 3. No one has successfully gone from the HAL to the B1. Look man there is always a 1st! And he is better then Yeboah. And being a Kiwi he rarely has to commit to international friendly's plus there is talk he might turn out for the Indian national team.

On NZ news they were saying the offer is a three year deal and a 500k transfer fee. Hopefully there's an onsell clause in there as well.

I would think another year in the HAL would be a better move, but it’s up to him.
Good luck to him.

If the state federations expect 10% of transfer fees, maybe Football in NZ should pay the FFA a share for all their funding of the game there.
Interesting times.

With add on clauses, most likely sell on fees.

Trouble with Davies was that he was only 165 cm officials (personally I think less). Like Caletti who Brisbane let go, who was even shorter, unless you have exceptional athleticism, you'll struggle. Messi is 170. Singh is an exceptional talent and I'd back him to make it. Sorry replied to the wrong post.

He won't make it at bayern but i think he and they know that but being over there he is in the shop window for other bundesliga teams to have a good look at him.
I could easily see him playing for a mid table team. ie Wolfsburg, Hoffenheim, frankfurt etc.

In the squad with the first team touring the US, games scheduled against Arsenal, Real Madrid, and A.C. Milan. You'd think he'd be getting game time as he's missing the Bayern Munich II season for this tour.

45 mins against Arsenal and did not look out of place. Solid performance.
Arsenal weren't exactly taking it easy, either.
