Australia have been a bit lucky. Archer bowls with a fair bit of pace with little effort. He has a nice high action, bowling at mid 140s with minimal effort.

Apart from Devon Malcolm, and a few balls from Flintoff and Harmison, Mark Wood has bowled about as fast as I've seen any English bowler bowl against Australia in these last few overs.
He has hit 153 kph.

most terams you take 4 by the 35th and you have won. Against England you need to really stay focused even after that

Thrilled thrilled THRILLED we are opening with the dorf rather than cummins
Old ball Cummins means 10 overs of pressure when no other bowler can achieve pressure and we can replace his brilliance with the new ball
depending on what our spinner dishes up we have 25 overs over genuine wicket taking threat here

Starting with the dorf completely changes the balance of the team
England can now look and think: Well there are still 10 pat cummins overs to come. He's gonna be tricky. Then there are 10 lyon overs to come. He won't take 6 wickets but will be tricky to score off (hopefully)

every player has performed their role in this team
ideally I'd love maxwell averaging 60 at a strike rate of 200 like he did last world cup but he's going at just over 30 at a strike rate of 200 which is his job. Carey has been similar at the death as well which has been a real delight
Only 2 things need to improve for us to be firing on all cylinders
Stoinis' batting and Carey's keeping.
Stoinis doesn't have to be a maxwell but if he can consistently get 30 odd off 25 odd that would take the team to another level

+x+xGood win to Australia! England fought back quite well after being 3-25. to be fair we bowled out our lesser bowlers as soon as we had them in trouble. It may have made the victory margin smaller but also made the victory more assured! Gday all, jaszyjim - We won. No summary as I just spent an hour writing it, when I went to post it internet died and lost same.

what a good win and even better on their home turf :) I watched the start of our 2nd innings, wow our bowling was in the zone. Loved Behrendorff's inswinger taking Vince ! followed by Starc's LB of Root ! What a platform that set.

Grazor have not watched a lot of this WC.. what is wrong with Carey's keeping?
