What has happened to Jade Wellington's star? Wareham seems to have overtaken her as the primary Southern Stars leggie. While I am at it.. do we expect to see Holly Ferling back in Aussie colors anytime soon? Looking forward to he Ashes.. specially the red ball game. Wishing the women had more Tests on their schedule.

The Southern Stars have kickstarted their Ashes campaign in style, cruising to a comfortable 50 over six-wicket victory over an England Academy team in Loughborough. A three-wicket haul to Jess Jonassen restricted the Academy team to 7-184 from a shortened 39 overs. Ellyse Perry (38 off 45), Haynes (55no off 62) and Beth Mooney (45no off 38) all found their feet on the slow surface as Australia reached their target in the 33rd over.
