+x+x+xMaybe with this fixture change, ANZ won't be an issue but ANZ derbies are kind of meh. I would honestly rather have them at Kogarah, give Wanderers 1.5k like the first season of the derby. 100%. Look how good the derbies were at Parramatta Stadium with 20k capacity. The derby should be played at Kogorah until your new stadium is ready. Fuck ANZ, and even more so fuck SCG. I actually don't mind SCG but as we know being oval were too far, Kogarah and even Leichardt would be great for derbies till SFS is ready. Kogarah is great for me but it is logistically poor for "high risk" Derbies. They have to shut the main gate to all but the few away supporters making it difficult for the majority to get in or out. I would rather travel an hour more, for the same sized crowd at Homebush than have an over policed game wreck my experience at Kogarah.

What a fkn surprise. So sick of our fixture being packed a derby and other high pressure fixtures at the start of the season whilst everyone else gets to cruise through for a comfortable start.

How good was it having to fight for an eternity for international breaks, only to have them nuked after one season? I’d question whether “fight” is the right word? Comments on internet boards like this and Twitter do not constitute a fight - fans have literally no voice in football and, with the exception of the fan boycotts, have rarely been able to fight for anything. It remains the one one glaring omission from the recent reforms - the voice of the fans.

+xI don’t like the derby at marvel or first round but I’ll still go it seems like all the clubs have been complaining about the fixture, so the FFA reverts back to the same template they have been using for years.

On International breaks This season games where 3 or more players are selected from one club if they fall in an international break or tournement are meant to be resheduled.

In that case same scenario at Leichardt as well. Therefore the Derbies should only be played at the SCG for us and at their new stad obviously..

Foxtel couldn't find the right kind of pointless filler during the breaks last season so they've just gone back to fucking over clubs that have players in the Socceroos.

Cool, so round 1 MV v MC derby, round 2 MU v MV derby, and round 3 will probably be the big blue No better way to start the season than with 3 cagey games

Hearing that the A-League draw could be released on Monday sounds very likely that it will be sometime next week if it’s not on Monday
