They're mp3 files, so there should be no problem there...will try converting them.

What kind of file are you trying to open??
Try converting it to a m4a file perhaps :-k

Just tried this, it opens Itunes, but the track doesn't play.

Hmm. It worked.

You can get an update that allows you to run WMA files on a mac. Itunes on windows is laggy as and always has some kind of problem.
Have you tried Just opening the file with Itunes?? ie, right mouse click on the file, "open with" > "Itunes".
or even "file" > "open"...

Actually, running ITunes on windows is seemingly better, because a mac doesn't recognise WMA files at all, and so doesn't put them in Itunes. On windows it recognises them and converts them to AAC. Tried that, didn't work.

EDIT: Or at least I thought. It went through all the motions of adding the folder to the Library. But it's still not there.

That happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Umm. I think I renamed the folder and then tried again.

That's what you get for runnign iTunes on windows.

Problem: I'm trying to add an album to the library. I go to 'add folder to library', find the folder, click ok. And nothing happens. Same thing if I try to do the tracks individually.

First person to come out with "that's what you get for using apple/Itunes" can fuck off, I really don't care.

I use File2HD for bands that are hard to find off limewire or utorrent. Usually local stuff. You're also safe from viruses and such. Quality may be poor, but often utorrent is too.

Edit: I also get clips of concerts I've been to off youtube through File2HD so I can have it saved to computer, put on Ipod, etc. Its not a bad thing to use at all.

But the maximum quality you can download at is the quality that the file is present at the site at. The standard format for myspace is 128kbps mp3, which is pretty poor. You need to have seriously shit speakers for the difference between that and 192kbps to be inaudible.

actually when you use file2HD you can chose from two versions, standard compressed quality and high quality which is quite good.

There is in some of my songs.

Theres not much fuck in most tracks to begin with.

If you cant find a torrent? Because its legal? Since when does a torrent user care about law abiding when obtaining songs?

It's also usually fucking shit quality because myspace compresses the fuck out of the tracks before they upload them.

i just do if i cant find the particular torrent. plus its legal!
