Just calling out whilst were all into Football I don't see anything much on any car buffs, be it your own pride and joys, there is a F1 thread but nothing on Supercars for eg or other races OS ?
Yes I am a car nut from way back, originally a Mechanic then Specialist in Brakes and Suspension then slid into the family business in the Automotive Aftermarket.
I used to punish my cars now I admire them.
Have spent alot of time getting good product to detail and having wife 3kids the only time you can grab many late nights in the man shed.
I/we attend many Supercar rounds incl Bathurst.
Bathurst I'm there near on every year due to business, love the place.
Supercars is another sport struggling due to many things, one the owners, maybe their friends with Lowy.
F1 I love - well the modern changes and rulings are effecting "racing" per say, as in most sports.
Many forms of racing grab my eye.
Avid Motogp Motorcross and Speedway watcher as well - hence why Fox is valuable to me not just for Football.
So whats your fancy and do you have a car you cherish ?

+ excuse the spell error in thread title.

EDIT: thread title updated - pv4

I miss the old Jap 90s two door coupes. The series 4+ RX7 and TT 300ZX are probably my all time faves.  The RX7 in particular holds is styling really well, it is still one of the best looking cars out there. The 300ZX is just pure horsepower greed and shameless styling.  Sports cars these days are sucky by comparison.

Couldn’t give a fug about V8, Bathurst or F1.

Love V8 sound, C63's to die for, Clevo/Windsors etc.......
Yer Godzilla is a beast ! came close buying one some years ago.
Talking Jap and yes agree RX7's were a brilliant machine but loved RX4's and earlier for me, 240/260Z's !
These late GTR's are weapons.
i30N way better than a Tucson thats for sure depending the needs.

Well considering  the tuscon is the family  car it has to do atm. The 130n will be the toy.  Loved the fd3s  rx7 which is the panther silhouette one.  There was one of the rare z spec gtr r34 in oz a couple of years back . Dunno if they sold it but it was a beast.

Absolute car nut myself. Always been into them since I was a kid and work as a Design Engineer at PWR Performance Products for a living specialising in the our motorsport side of business (F1, MotoGP, Le Mans, etc.) and fucking love it. Got a VW Bora for a daily which isn't anything crazy but I adore it all the same. I can appreciate almost anything with an engine, but Euro/Jap/Aussie stuff most of all. Follow most forms of racing and did karting as a kid, was great fun :)

Cheers, can vouch for it as a good place to work at too. Certainly impressive what he's done that's for sure. Roland is best left not discussed entirely 😅

Nice, The Bend looks like a cool track. From what I've heard it's very flat so not as visually impressive but at least you can see all the action.

No worries.
Bend impressed me today.
As good as PI imo and probably better due to having the Rydges hotel right in front of the track for those well off people but it makes for getting good coffee inside and some nice static car displays.
I checked on the overnight cost during the supercars, $950 a night King room and $1400 a night Executive room, lol......
Track is top and Pit facilities very good, those private owners have done a great job.

I'm a two bucket kind of guy but have lots of mates who snowfoam. I'm big into Bowden's products these days, best off-the-shelf stuff I've used (especially the wheel cleaner).

My cousin is a professional detailer for Honda and he uses and recommends snow foam to me. But he did if u only do a normal hand wash with the two bucket method under shade itll be just as good .  Bowden's is the best product I've come across. Aussie made to  boot  too.  Been getting into detailing my car and my wife's more and more due to me watching stauffer garage .

yes I'm into it - 2 bucket method definately on my 2 pride and joys.
Yes have snow foam as well, actually is the Bowdens one.
Have their big green micro fibre towel and bought a number of their products knowing Dan.
TBH some is good some not, just depends what your colour car is and some products pop better than others.
I've always found not every brand has the best finish your after so once I use x brand I try another and may get better result.
I have quite a few friends far more into it than me so I listen to them and watch links they send me.
Heck even some of Meguairs product is still good I find.
Apart from buying a bit of Bowdens I've used this crowd for other brands waxit.com.au that many Enthusiast friends buy from.
Zaino is good I find and Menzurna "pops" metallic finish's to me.
I'm about to buy my first buffing machine and pads, been scared to use one but now I'm feeling confident enough fingers crossed.

Cousin recommended me some products they use at Honda as their professional grade products but will cost a lot due to them being only for "trade"   refract I've heard good stuff about.  Also with the buffing machines there are pros and cons in both orbital and  the  rotary buffers.

Refract I've heard of too, but yes it wouldn't be cheap I would guess. Funnily enough I still go between some brands at times and I still go for Meguiars Wash and Wax (yellow one) on my VW as it has always left a good result.

Don't be too scared about buffing, just let the tool do the job - the biggest mistake is too much applied pressure I find. Then just choose a good buffing compound and polishing cloth after that. It'll be easy as pie. Don't forget the wax! :)

Agree. The biggest thing is not to apply to much pressure. Also clay barring or clay Mitt before the buffer will work  a treat.

yes agree fellas, no need to apply pressure with the buffer, just let the pad do its job and the product.
I'm arranging my order this week.

ChrisAUFC re car wash, agree yer thats the Ultimate Wash N Wax and have used it, pretty good.
I really like their previous one Soft Wash Gel, its pink and so very soapy and smooth.

Yep that's the one! Been using it nearly 8 years now and paint still looks factory fresh.

Gotta do some servicing on the VW soon, I tell you what there are few things that grind my gears more on modern cars than these pesky "sealed" automatic transmissions 😠 I just want a dipstick to change my transmission fluid with ease instead of having to measure out the old fluid every time!

One thing I hate about newer cars is that they make it look so difficult to service your own car , because one wrong move you wouldve disabled something electrical.

Dont get me wrong technology   can be beneficial to cars. But it can make working on cars difficult . If I wanted to upgrade say my air filter I have modify my maf sensor to make sure my ecu doesnt mess up something

Yep, for all its benefits that we all know about it does make simple things difficult. Like you said something as simple as a high flow air filter can throw out the sensor's operating range. Although to be fair I seem to have gotten lucky with the K&N panel filters in that regard, no issues for 7+ years. But obviously if you wanted more power you need a better setup and tune, along with the MAF issues you said - it's a fun and expensive world..

My old Mazda had a panel filter which was fine. But before I got the k&n panel filter I got a cold air intake. Had to return the cai as it messed up my ecu and Mazda did charged me . Never again

yes modern day cars, the tech has made working on them tedious.
You can work around some and some not.
Sealed boxs, even some engines today makes for the challenge, the OE's making life harder for the Aftermarket/DIY'ers.
One thing for sure tech has made it easier (at a cost) getting more power out of the de tuned showroom car.

Hey your detailer connections ChrisAUFC, having looked into buffers etc it seems you really need a couple regards size.
A mini for tight hard to get places and a larger one ie 5" wide backing plate for larger surfaces, what your cousin suggestion if any ?

yep cool Thanks.

I test drove a i30N Performance top spec coupe yesterday.
Only come in 6speed manual that suits me fine.
My first drive of a hot style hatch in years for I've been admiring the Golf R/A45/RS3 etcetc for a long time.
This i30N was bloody great have to say and for the price compared to the above usual over priced marques is great bang for buck !

They're absolute monsters. Hyundai market it as a gti killer and alot of reporters agree. Love em and their is already a market for aftermarket parts for them.  And like you said very cheap for a hot hatch

that they are.
Great tech as well and I could live with one for a daily.
I checked the Golf R but the wagon got my eye instead, great looking and the wagon has more practicability but I could manage with the i30N, I tested the coupe and its boot capacity is a little larger than the hatch.
Might be the option one day soon.

Hyundai have really surprised me in recent years, in a good way. Mostly going against the norm of releasing one dour tarted-up hatchback to look like an SUV after another, and instead providing us with the N and the Stinger. Toyota are trying too with the GT86 and Supra, it's as if the Asian manufacturers (and probably a few others to be fair) forgot that their brand's reputation can be affected so much by the cars that appeal to actual enthusiasts. Nissan need to take note.

Stinger is Kia but part of the hyundai family.  Happens when hyundai group are spending money on r&d .  Theres a n version of the Tucson coming as well . Love the i30n rally car

Also agree with re Nissan. The gtr's are brilliant but most of their newer models have been meh . If they properly re did the sss pulsar it would've been brilliant but what we got was meh

Hyundai are releasing a fastback option for the n .

:) thats what I test drove and shape I'd want.

Agree Hyundai/KIA are working smart and keep looking ahead well.
I think the Stinger has suffered from wrong timing as brilliant a first effort it was.
Smart to capiltilise on the Falcon/Commodore closures But just too soon.
Many of those local owners are getting over their 3 or 5yrs lease's - many would/could have jumped over wishing to retain RWD action and since its sounding like Stinger MK11 is going ahead :(
Your right re Nissan and screwing up with a updated modern Pulsar variant, they now have given that segment away real silly imo.
Godzillas were brilliant and later GTR's as much as I admire them they also screwed up being too expensive.
Triple figures puts them up against some shelf Euro offerings, they should be sub $100k and their sales would be great imo.

Well the gtr's are super cars so they were always going to cost over 100k . Hell the last ever gtr r34 can cost over 200 k and if you get  a z tune  nismo variant you will be paying over 350 k. And if you can get your hands on a non modified skyline you will be paying more too

Hell yes to a modern day SSS Pulsar (if they bothered to do it right), then they can go ahead and even make a TCR variant to race and we're 90% of the way back to the glory days of Super Tourers :D A man can dream...

A modern sss pulsar done right would've been awesome . For some reason they decided to make it a family oriented instead of a proper hot hatch that could also be a family car . I still love the n14 sss pulsar   . Or if Nissan decided to bring back the gti-r  pulsar . The mini Godzilla

The N14's were just brilliant, and I can't believe I forgot about the GTI-R, it's been years since I've seen one now. I miss Nissan when they were making cars like this 😅

Re: the comments above the GT-R's have always been pricey. The latest Motor mag had a great article about the R32 and apparently it was AUD 100k when it was brand new back then (!) which is just staggering.

Really? Someone told me they were around the 30 to 40 k mark when they got released.the r32 was a legit bad ass and I haven't seen one that's hasn't been modified.
Yeah the n14 pulsars were the best pulsar shape that nissan made.  The sss pulsar hatch was pure filth . Also the last GTI-r I seen was at the wreckers  next to my work.  Dunno if someone bought it or it got scrapped

Yep something is going on re Mazda rotary.
I had the wifes CX5 being serviced the other week and whilst waiting I was went looking around the showroom.
Naturally sales guy came hunting me but I said thanks no thanks just waiting on car being serviced But I did say how good the Mazda is nowadays BUT where is a performance product ?!
SP is gone etc and he did lead on a Rotary is looking very likely.......
Hope its a beauty.

Just come back from Bathurst - work and I still love being around race cars.
The amount of Mustangs is obvious for what else can you get similar sub $80k.
New RSpec model was paraded, Supercharged using Ford Performance product fitted @ Broadmeadows and Herrod Performance doing the fitment under Fords eyes.
This will be just over $100k limited to 500 units.
A test in the water in the hope a factory Ford one is done in the future RHD like GT350/500's.

Hyundai have come a long way from oh its just a hyundai

Agreed, back in the day when everyone would be driving that same shitty excel they had no respect. I've seen no one dissing any of their i-models really though, and they're now very popular. My mrs had a Tucson which we loved, she nearly upgraded to a newer one recently but went with an X-Trail in the end because she said it was bigger.

I am not a car enthusiast, I let the rain wash my car most times so don't detail  but I came here to fix your thread title for you, cheers.

ok Thanks for the title edit pv4 !
I'm jealous wish I could let the rain be the washer of my cars but I'm too ocd, a good and bad thing.
Yes Hyundai have done in half the time what the Japs did originally way back then and now I'm waiting to see how quick the chinese gain some cred here.
Being some here are Enthusiasts drop by for some tips now and then if needed, we or more so I wouldn't have recommended the xtrail :).

It took the Japanese 20 years to get credibility . Same as the koreans . The chinese need to focus more in r&d instead  of copying cars.  Look at the cars they don't release o/s

we or more so I wouldn't have recommended the xtrail :).

And that is fine.

It has honestly been bulletproof for what we use it for, I haven't found a problem with it yet. There are also slim to none times it doesn't suit our lifestyle with the little family etc. It has ticked every box so far, and in my very uneducated opinion I wouldn't push people away from it (without knowing all other options available).

With Holden now officially gone by 2021, what will happen to V8 Supercars? Walkinshaw have ruled out the Camaro, and with Nissan & Volvo exiting in recent years (plus Betty's Erebus Mercs) it leaves a grim future with seemingly little new manufacturer interest. Time for a fresh slate and get DTM and Japanese SuperGT to combine regs so we can have all cars eligible from both those series on our shores. Thoughts?

Sure did, more just making the point that we lost another different type of car from the field when she went to Holden.

also she didn't have support from MB who really didn't like the thought being in the Bogan game.

Muz over $2B of our $$$$ went to Holden.
Electric or not money could have gone to more important areas ( hospitals/infrastructure) than a company sinking, thanks Unions.

Back in the day I liked the Touring Cars that actually had different manufacturers such as Holden,Ford of course but there was also Nissan, BMW, Alfa Romeo & others I found it interesting.

However the bogans couldn't handle that cars from other countries were actually better so they told everyone else to fuck off & created their own category of "Aussie" cars only which was at that point I lost interest.

Yer that period was tuff.......
Bloody marketing.
I loved the days of Bathurst having Class's and the variety of brands/models/capacities.
Such a top race back then, like a LeMans of old as well but 6hrs.
I did miss the V8's during that GrpA period despite liking Bimmers etc......
Trouble was the main support was not just the bogans but to the local manufacturers and those powers above in Supercars more so major sponsers etc created the Red vs Blue and Holden was one of the instigators in the background politicking behind the scenes promising $$$$ and they also would have been behind pushing other manufacturers out.
Why do you think Ford opted out years ago (again) then back how many times - and the field has always been dominated as the Commodore Cup.
Why do you think Volvo/Nissan walked away not getting enough concessions as per the Holden/Ford and why do you think other manufacturers haven't been introduced.
Supercars put themself in this position in the big picture today.
Holden the cash cow, with Fox Supercars at least could survive but not now.
I'm actually refreshed this is causing a huge reset - just hope its a good reset.

The Godzilla owning the holdens and fords was epic. That thing wasnt even a v8. Also didn't help holden and fords that their turning circles were like a boat

Absolutely amazing how dominant they were. The Sierras were pretty good too. I'd love a return to Group A style or something like TCR for larger models.

yep finally dong dong the Lion is dead !
Well was ages ago, they should have killed the commodore name like Ford did with Falcon when manufacturing ceased here.
Selling a fwd opel was never going to satisfy 2,500 V8 commodore buyers per month, bloody ridiculous.
Overall sad we have no more Australian cars but Unions made sure of that, no point its over.
As for Supercars, you can Thank also for driving away Betty's MB's, then Volvo and Nissan got drained badly, surprised they persisted for so long - Kellys smart finally changing to Mustang after persisting for so long with the Nissans.
People I know are talking about GT4 regs.
I sure like DTM as well.
GM/Chev are dead man walking in the future it seems, been such a badly run organistion.
They have dropped so many brands/models.
Camaro hasn't been confirmed next gen after 2023 at this stage.

I've heard GT4 being floated around too, but I don't think it'll work in Australia. I just can't see enough people supporting it given the eligible cars that would likely race. Porsches, Astons and Audis are just so different to the traditional touring car we've gotten accustomed to in V8 Supercars and we have GT3 anyway which is where the majority of the supporters for GT4 would likely come from anyway. It's a tough road ahead.

Agree with GM being the next to go, too. I'm giving them 5 years.

Yes I know, GT4/3 is such a different crowd lol, bogans would have it hard to stomach.
The Mustang GT4 is a cracker for sore eyes https://performanceparts.ford.com/gt4/
Trouble is the rest are Euro based competing.
I suppose with Holden/GM not in the picture like they were its logical it goes this way re GT4 type.
Supercars have been talking of Gen3 after 21, allowing 2door/coupe shapes under the control chassis but I'd say this will be blown off the drawing board now.
It will depend what support and direction they get from current Teams for starters then what costs are involved.
Sure is a tuff road and urgent road ahead.

GM have been dead man walking since the GFC.

As much as I love Godzilla's and nearly bought one not long ago to be fair ???????
You had RWD V8 dinosaurs vsing AWD twin turbo coupe - yes it was a beautiful piece of work by Nissan but it sure wasn't apples with apples.
Rate that car highly.
Damn those temperamental Sierras were amazing.
Tech again for those days and soso fast.
Had to give kudos to DJR going back OS with his beating the euros, he got them sorted so well.
Another wish I had in the garage.
As much as I love V8 sounds and feel ie AMG Merc C63 etc sure wish we had more variety in our top game but that COTF Skaife commissioned should have been scrutinised more and made sure other manufacturers played on the even keel with Holden and Ford.
It is what is is, as said hopefully we end up with something that suits many more in the future.

Funny thing is the r32 Godzilla twin turbo wasnt the powerful engine . The single turbo rb26det had a higher power ratio than the rb26dett

Safety wasn't even considered back then as we all know, raw stuff.
Unfortunately I fell asleep lol.....worked my arse off outside over the weekend.

So no Supercars/F1/motogp etcetc as well as no football re runs are going to get a work out till the world gets back to normal.

Going to be a busy off season for McLaren, then. The big rule changes have been pushed back to 2022 so now they're the only team with a lot of redesign to do on the chassis for 2021, unless others need to massively redesign for competitiveness. Sure the engine mounting points are all the same, but even "basic" stuff like the cooling systems are massively different in architecture let alone the energy storage units. Those guys will be working overtime to get the Merc engine package in and integrated aero wise.

If anyone needs more motoring goodness to watch on the telly, give 'Adrenalin' a go. It's a BMW motorsport doco mainly on their touring cars all the way from the 60's to the golden years of DTM and up to this decade, but also includes some 1980's F1, Le Mans, M1 Procar Series, art cars, and more.

I think the off season is going to be a longer one than usual.
Even if and when they will start racing this year they will also get a head start on the MB fitment to their chassis I suppose but yer still alot of work ahead.
Talk about making with with an ex wife !

So with the coming economic down turn coming do you think we will have some great new car deals in the next few months despite the A$ going down and down ?
Probably only on old stock.

Yeah older stock wouldn't surprise me, I have seen old Holden dealers in Adelaide go crazy. Trying to get $10k off a brand new Astra RS-V for a relative and I honestly think I can get it. Haggle hard!

oh yer anything under the Holden brand (barring colorado to a degree) is open to good deals, they are in hurt hurt hurt more than most.
Giveaway those imposter commodores.
Why an Astra ? I'd be looking at a i30/KIA for me.
In fact thats what I hoping to jump into, a i30N on a rippa deal in the near future.

Sorry only just saw this. Have test driven the i30 (not the N) and agree that it is a solid car and good value for money.. but just lacks that last 1% for me. The Astra drives really nicely and looks more sharp too, just a bit less pedestrian I suppose is the best way to put it. By all means the i30 is still a good car but it's more like a Corolla to me - first car I would recommend to any non-enthusiast, just not for my taste because it's more like an appliance rather than a machine I can get involved with and enjoy the experience of more.

My niece and her boyfriend just yesterday went into debt buying a 2016 Ford Territory. I told them prior it was a stupid idea not just because I don't believe they can afford that debt even disregarding the worlds current climate, nor also because that car is completely unnecessarily large for their lifestyle, but my main reason was surely cars are going to dip in value in a very short amount of time and it seems ridiculous not to continue with their current car (which was fine, within reason) until they get far better deals.

But, I drove past yesterday and saw the Territory parked in their driveway so I am the arsehole uncle that they have proved wrong, I assume is their thought train.

Sorry to hear, it seems to be a common attitude amongst the younger ones though (I say that despite the fact I'm only 26 myself). Gotta have as new and as shiny of a car as you possibly can and bugger what it costs you. They'll genuinely regret it and sell it soon enough it sounds like anyway. But yeah you can go to any Holden dealer and just get ludicrous deals at the moment, and the Territory has a lot of known issues which will start to show soon.

My thing has always been.  Don't borrow money ( or save as much as you can ) to buy a car & don't buy new.

This is a bad time for large financial commitments imo.

pv4, your not the scrouge Uncle - just typical when maturing knowing with experience.
We were all young once (well I am compared to many here, my eldest son is ChrisAUFC's age ffs :) )........
Back in my day @ 21ish I went into debt wanting the latest and greatest - that taught me, costed me a BOMB what the interest was back then !
In my own business for a long time now and EZ's comments above have been my ways since that huge lesson, buy very low k 2-5yr old cars what I've needed outright.
Saved alot of money.
Only bought my first new one in 2016 - due to 2 things, business has been going well, money in the bank, DD for its a keeper.
Look no matter what people say re the Terri, they are good SUV but their fuel bill omg unless you can afford it.
Nothing like that inline aussie 6.
By now I expect previous owners have fixed the known issues ie front ball joints was the main thing knocking away.
The rest is not that bad, its all Falcon running gear, affordable compared to other brands.
Just depends they use a good mechanic.
Now is certainly not the time getting into debt but then again banks are going to be alot more flexible under the circumstances.

My Dad had a Territory and it was outstanding for him, and for the family when we borrowed it for the extra seats. He semi-recently even upgraded to the Everest. So that Ford line is proven in our family.

But I can't work out why they need such a big car, and like you said with the added running costs even in their financial prime that car makes no sense why they'd get it.

Both my niece and her boyfriend have a horrible history of keeping up with routine maintenance on their cars, their current cars are in worse shape than they could be because of this. I expect them to be no better with this Territory, particularly as they will more than probably consider servicing too expensive while they are repaying the car itself.

Apparently I am the only one in the family that lives and breathes by the mechanic service sticker - you hit the kms it says, you take it in. The rest of my family consider this the wrong way to maintain their car (and note: they do not maintain it themselves).

Ah ok re the Ford linage.
Good to hear for I am a Aussie Ford supporter (Falcon) warts and all RIP.....
Everest is a good bit of kit mind you, I keep saying it amongst my fellow Enthusiasts elsewhere its over priced but thats where Ford wish to be - making some profit unlike like they used to.
Ranger as well has been a great money maker - people seem to buy the high end Wildtrak where profits are better than XLT/S's so good on them.
I still like bigger cars than I need when you mention this about them.
I hear you about "servicing" your vehicles.
I am the same and worse being an Enthusiast, 5-7klm oil changes but my "daily" normal service intervals religiously.
Prevention is better than cure, the young have to learn the hard way, through their pockets.

yes I agree with your summary, the Astra does look sharper has some style in fact compared to i30/rolla etc......
Get yourself in a i30N for a test drive, only something like that gets my juices going and I was impressed, bang for buck.

By the way all this car posting get me going.
I spotted this recent you tuber doing a test on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swlBE2iOjOk&feature=youtu.be
Maybe not be to many here's taste, back in the day you were either Falcon or Holden, I went Falcon.
That you tube review is just as the one I have stored away but mine is the TS50 up spec version and same colour Blueprint.
For a taxi as they say it really does well for a big 4door.
Love it, haven't driven it for about a year, need to get it out blow its cobwebs off.

Would love to test drive an i30N, but I know if I do.. there goes a chunk of my savings for a home deposit because I won't be able to resist 😅

I was in the Ford camp too despite growing up in Adelaide, especially in the the AU-BA Falcon days. That Tickford TS50 was exactly as they put it in that video, how the AU always should have looked (although in V8 Supercars trim the DJR and Green Eye 00 Falcons were fantastic too). Definitely an appreciating modern classic in our motoring history, you're a lucky bugger with one of those in the garage! I miss those days of V8 Supercars, it just doesn't have the same appeal or relevance anymore.

Thanks fellas re the TS50.
It sure is a nice bit of kit for its only a Falcon to some.
I love it, its mean looking, sounds mad and handles fantastic for its size, the IRS is way better than the preceeding BASeries onwards.
It steers better than BSeries/FG series as well.
Even at 18yrs old when I take it out people turn their necks, at servos filling up at times someone pass's by and asks is that a new GT - lol love it.
ChrisAUFC yes hang onto getting a house, IF your in that position soon after COVID19 deals will there for the taking and maybe can get a i30N as well lol.........
Yes I'm very impressed with that car, agreed I like the coupe design if/when I get one.
mouflon, I know quite a few with their toy fleet virius - madness but good luck to them.
Damn the roads are quiet.
Yes plenty car shows etc to watch on Netflix.

Well apart from still getting to my office daily again for now and were in the middle of a small reno at home I'm getting myself ready to make some time getting into some detailing.
Bought some more shine mate pads - cleaning brush and looking forward to paint correct my neglected 4x4 black hilux, its my daily and tbh the marks/swirls and clear coat oxidisation on the roof has got me to the point enough is enough.
Looking forward to get into this and see how it comes up.
Then the wifes 2yr old CX5 needs a light clean up to get it looking scmick again.
Both cars are not under cover and we live around bush area, so between heaps of gum sap/possum and bird droppings these paint jobs need protection.
Hey got plenty more time on weekends with NO football to play/attend/watch.

Well the Supercar ESeries is a small relief unexpectedly.
I wasn't that excited about it but its better than I thought once you get your head around it.
Having Verstappen in last week was great and seeing our guys racing on Monza was a good change.
Bathurst last night was fun as well for when isn't anything at Bathurst not.
Some fast sim steerers.
All in all its better than nothing.

Well I didn't end up going a i30N, nearly but really wanted more space than the Hatch/Coupe.
After much searching at around the $40k odd budget I stumbled across a very clean 1owner 2017 Bimmer 330i MSport wagon.
Only had 30thou k's - log books obviously.
First of the 3series with the 2.0l T motor. I had a 3 series years ago and loved that straight line 6 so my test drive originally I was a little sceptical at first and thankfully very impressed how damn good it goes.
Wright ups about this vehicle upon release and scribes test drives were very positive towards the engine change and overall package.
Having picked it up today I can see why.
What a brilliant mid size car it is, and loving the depreciation dump these euros always cop after 3yrs.

Damn. But the bimmer is still a good choice
My wife is getting a ldv 9 seater due to the fact she's starting a family day care and will need seating.  .maybe I could get the i30 n now 😅😅
