rain doesn't hurt us since we are 1-0 up in the series
still I'd prefer to win through piling on some runs
300 should be enough but a very steep ask

+x+xThis rain is frustrating! Watch WI v Ind during the break. Gabriel's first ball was 144k.... Windies get an early wicket 5/1.... :) If Windies beat India and NZ draw the SL series... NZ are the #1 test team in World Cricket - lol :)

+x2-39 seems like a good score given how many very good Pommy balls with movement have beaten edges. average swing been close to 2% and the seem has been brutal lucky to not be all out for 70. We really have done brilliantly 300 is probably a match winning score but very very difficult to get there

Looks like another full house at Headingley. Poms love their test cricket.

+x+x+xGod it looks cold today in England... they call this summer? Dunedin and Invercargill are pretty cold too. Wow lol..... Alexandrea near Dunedin but more central in the south island is our hottest and coldest place both.... Its pretty, but real extremes.... Alexandria can be very hot.

rains again
shame we lost khawaja but Australia have done very very well 2-39 in impossible conditions
brilliant knock from warner. He's been playing for the straight one happy to be beaten on the outside edge.

+x+x+x+xOne laugh is having Geoff Boycott's commentary - love it! He really makes me laugh! I really like the north of England. Boycott and his broad Yorkshire accent combine to make a character of some note. He is so opiniated and immodest too. Is he on sky? or you listening to radio? ABC radio. Even though ahead of TV, it is better than having all the ads we suffer on FTA TV covering The Ashes. Lol. Are they doing the BBC radio feed with Jeremy Coney? Yes I'm a kiwi - but he really is good. A former school teacher - but so funny. Not that school teacher's can't be funny, but he really is... I love listening to Coney, Agnew and even Boycott... No Coney. Boycott, Agnew, Isa Guha, Aussie cricket commentator Jim Maxwell and another English bloke whose name I'm not sure of.

+x+xa few half volleys missed lately but tiny signs that things are getting easier you reckon? Even Broad is getting swing... and he not a swing bowler like Jimmy... its not swinging/seeming as much and the accuracy is declining slightly

this has been a brilliant knock from warner. He's really protected the middle order and seen off the toughest conditions
we really could have collapsed by now

I dont think of much of Warner as a human being, but he is a great cricketer of immense talent, its his time to shine right now...
