Problem is clubs'll still have to omit one of their non-Asian foreigners from their ACL squads, and it's not worth the hassle IMO. If the AFC stipulates 3+1 then we should abide by that.

What about improving the quality of foreign players instead of increasing it? For me I still see average foreign talent in the league so I don’t why they came up with the conclusion that increasing would help when there is still average journeyman running around.

It just shows how poor the aleague clubs have been at developing Australian players, relying on almost the same players that have been recycled for so long that’s the biggest problem more than anything else!
