If small clubs can't win championships you will see crowds, viewership, subscriptions sponsorships dry up. It will become a boring league Australia will never have a dozen Melbourne Victories and people supporting salary caps and anti pro-rel need to understand this. Exactly

Was at the game last night and it was easily a 5,000 crowd. The active area was full, and there were plenty of people on that side of the ground in the Reg Hickey Stand.
If they can maintain a 5,000 average for this season then it won’t be so bad.

BRFC are tonight $380k better off than if they’d played at Suncorp today ✔️ The game sold out ✔️ Yes Roar should be pulling in 20k crowds regularly but for a variety of reasons don’t. Today will have accelerated the move towards a boutique stadium ✔️ The only criticism to my eye today (other than the wonky Center line) is why football doesn’t have a stadium like that in this state ❌
