+x+xAverage attendance this season is sitting at 9.9K vs 10.9K last season. It's amazing to watch how much saving of the league is going on this season. Just so much saving... Thanks new ffa ! I think you are actually a Lowy family bot.

+x+xJets v WU - 5,458 Ade v City - 7,068 Glory v Vucks - 9,435 Jets game was fricken hot and while I don't deny its an awful crowd, I understand why people wouldn't show up to conditions like that. Adelaide crowd disappointing, and expected glory to crack the 10k mark considering the way they talked it up, however it is decently above their average Jets game is understandable. Adelaide has the big bash finals on at the same time so that’s understandable. Perth’s crowd was disgraceful, however If the wildcats weren’t vsing Sydney at the same time, they would have got 12k. How does the wildcats playing away in sydney affect a glory home game?

Silly excuses have always existed, I remember someone once mentioning that the circus was in town, or that there was some sort of big exhibition on, or something...really??

They're the only NBL team that has consistently drawn better crowds than the local HAL team.

If there was no climate change, other sports didn’t exist, all teams had billion dollar bank accounts, public transport was free, and they gave out free beer at matches, I definitely think we could get to a 12k average. Well then, judging by those facts, you gotta admit we are doing pretty well!

Keen for this weeks fixtures, so after I see the decent crowd figures, I can return to being optimist about the chance of the league being revived and still having hope for another week until the next round swings by and we get another 40k through the gates like normal and I realise that we are watching the death of this league.

I received an email from the club regarding tickets for an away derby. that’s a first. ticket sales must be putrid.
AFLW starts this weekend and Richmond v Carlton are competing against us on Friday. Richmond are making their debut and their fans will come out in droves. With free entry, they will fill Princess Park, no doubt. We'll probably cop a bit of flak from the media over the weekend when the crowd in that game tops a Melbourne derby.

They're expecting 24k for the aflw opener at princes park. That will almost certainly top the derby.

The predicted deluge on Saturday in Sydney will put a literal dampener on the attendance at the Sydney Derby given the lack of cover at the stadium and the predominance of grass hill seating.

It will also wash out the bbl grand final which means the Sydney Sixers will be champions and tomorrow’s grand final qualifier is being played for nothing lol.

Email from SFC stating that no fold up chairs to brought into the ground , as it is only standing allowed on the grass bank on Saturday.

They would rather pack out the hill and come as close a possibly to the 20.5k capacity. It should be sold out and as full as possible, which means that the hill space is gonna be tighter packed then normal.

There is a deal for City Saver which is literally L3 on the wings for $25 adult tickets and $10 for children’s tickets. I got some last night it’s extremely good value. In contrast Victory end is $35 behind the goals near the corners.

Everyone standing should mean about 23000 IMO,going by the space at the MCFC game which had over 17 thousand.

Cricket Australia have already moved the bushfire relief match to Melbourne.
