+x+xIt's exactly 5,000 more than attended the last time Wanderers played City at home. At Bankwest? Their crowds are plummeting this season. What's next, 10k? They are averaging 6,719 more per game than after 4 home games last season. Do you think that playing at Bankwest has something to do with the 60% increase in their attendance?

12k isn't bad...ordinarily One disappointing aspect is that this was a top of the table clash, so you'd probably expect a tiny bit more interest.

It does appear to be a continuous stream of excuses each week for crowd numbers.
Perth had a game starting later than their usual mid afternoon time slot and good weather and couldn’t even get 9k in a quite highly anticipated GF rematch.
Wellington need a new stadium. They are never going to fill it and the field is the wrong shape, so that venue will always seem like a failure in the eyes of most. Fan experience has to be a key priority and that venue is a long way from optimal, so playing at a more appropriately sized venue would likely bring many benefits for them.

6,790 is 1,150 lower than Wellington's long term average, 1,740 lower than last season's average, 340 more than the average last season of the first 3 home games, it's the median so far this season and it is 240 below the average this season. Additionally it is 1,940 more than the 3rd home game last season. Make of those what you will.
