Partially, Grant was culpable. He didn't attack  the ball enough by moving forwards to cut out the intercept .

Mabil's defending was awful, in that he didn't  pressure the Taiwanese player on the  ball enough allowing him to have too much time and space on the ball to make an incisive cross.

Yep but it was also a brilliant cross and header by Taiwan 

I'd argue  Awer fault should have closed the player on the wing down , also Irvine should have picked up the free player who ultimately crossed in the killer ball, though for sure Grant should have been goal side, it really came through lack of respect, real lack of team effort.

Risdon still worthy of squad but Grant providing good assists as well as mostly solid defending. Hard to drop Grant now IMO
