I am a big cricket trivia buff. Are the rest of you. This is something we can do to occupy our time during matches. The first is a simple one. Name the bowler that nailed Bradman in his final Test match.

I will give you something a little more recent. Who was first batsman in the past 25 years to have twice scored three centuries in a single Ashes series?
This will surprise you. Steve Smith has also done it.

Ok Bobbie and Paddles. Who was Australia’s leading run-scorer in the 2013 Ashes series? That was in England.

+xOk Bobbie and Paddles. Who was Australia’s leading run-scorer in the 2013 Ashes series? That was in England. Isn't that the series when Ashton Agar got close to a ton? And Clarke, Watson and Smith all went big? It's got to be one of those 3. I think Clarke got at least one duck.

Ok - which player internationally since 1970 has scored the most runs in a test series? If that’s too easy, when and where?

Tubby Taylor '89 Ashes comes to mind .. about 850 runs for the 6 match series. Steve Smith tho posted 774 from the past Ashes from only 4 matches. Was never all that good at maths but I reckon that is the better of the two performances.. even tho his aggregate falls behind Taylors.

Nah England in 1990 - Gooch scored a tripple and a second 100 in the one match, think it was the one Dev hit 4 6s in a row to avoid the follow on. It was the middle of Gooch's career peak.

Such a bad record, he took 6 tests to do it, and barely scored more runs than Gooch in 3 tests vs India... Was that in India? Any runs scored there should be worth double. Nah England in 1990 - Gooch scored a tripple and a second 100 in the one match, think it was the one Dev hit 4 6s in a row to avoid the follow on. It was the middle of Gooch's career peak. Nice work Mr Gooch. I have a photo of me with Gooch and Gatting from their 94/95 Ashes tour. Signed by Gatting, who kept wanting to make me cups of tea. Really. Ok a new one. A tuffie. Name the only man who has taken a hat-trick and made a half-century in an Ashes Test.
I'll have a crack: Monty Noble. Forget that one. Was William Bates (1883) Must be a Pom. Ok this is easier name the only post war cricketers to take an Ashes hat trick. There are three. Only one is a great. Warnie

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xOk Bobbie and Paddles. Who was Australia’s leading run-scorer in the 2013 Ashes series? That was in England. Isn't that the series when Ashton Agar got close to a ton? And Clarke, Watson and Smith all went big? It's got to be one of those 3. I think Clarke got at least one duck. That is the one. Holed out for 98. It is out of those three you mentioned Bobbie. I'm going with Watson, then. Clarke got the duck and Smith is too obvious. :p Yep the oft maligned Shane Watson. Now what a surprise that is. There you go. Often seen as simply a basher. Ok - which player internationally since 1970 has scored the most runs in a test series? If that’s too easy, when and where? What are the worst bowling figures you can come up with? 0-250 is pretty shocking.
