I fail to see why Vidosic gets so much hate, unless it is the fact that he only really got involved for about 50% of the game,
I think during AFC games he seems to put himself out there more. Methinks he's angling for an overseas gig in the big money leagues.

I still don't think Fyfe is quite up to match fitness yet, you could see he wasn't as up to the game last week against Heart.

McKain and Boogs at CB have been pretty solid so far. Mullen is okay at RB, but his forward movement is nearly non-existent, so the sooner we get Bowles into the team there, the better.

I think the key will be having both Malik and Caravella in the middle again. Malik drops back to provide the link up play, whilst Caravella provides more options by actually creating space with his running. I guess Rambo will start on the left, and Vidosic on the right. That leaves Usucar in the final midfield position.

Kostopoulos has been a great sub for Vidosic on the right, so I expect we'll see him get at least 25-30 minutes. Fyfe will provide cover at the back, Serg will provide cover up front, and Barbiero will be the classical Barbiero sub.

so owusu is back in adelaide playing for woodville. feel sorry for the guy had swine flu and was sick while playing for us who knows if he was fit how he would of went. Interesting to read though when he went back to luton town after playing for us he scored 7 goals in 12 games maby we missed out on something ?... maby not lol apparently with some sponsorship company he will be played 300 000 for 3 years not to bad.

also cristiano is gone once again playing for some Honduran club.

BARCELONA'S next pre-season is bound to be built on the ideology of Spanish one-touch play.

John Kosmina's Adelaide United "warriors" will cross-train with boxing, yoga and paint-ball sessions.

While the Spanish giant is highly unlikely to give its first-class outfit training outside its creed, Adelaide United might be in line to land a piece of Australia's A-League version of Barcelona style.

Adelaide-born attacking midfielder Rocky Visconte, 21, potentially may fall into Reds hands with negotiations to take a twist to bring Roar's Olyroo back home.

After Roar missed signing Dario Vidosic in the FIFA January transfer window when Adelaide was not satisfied with the deal, the fringe Socceroo might be involved in a trade with Visconte in the off season.

Visconte has another season to run on his Roar contract.

Vidosic's Reds' deal ends in 2014.

With an estimated six new players needed for the 2012-13 season, Kosmina must fit his new warriors into a tight salary cap after recently signing Gold Coast utility Daniel Bowles, 20.

Adelaide has had player agents floating Bowles' ex-Gold Coast team-mates Jake Barker-Daish, 18, Gol Gol Mebrahtu, 21, and Tahj Minniecon, 23.

After Gold Coast boss Mike Mulvey was credited with giving 13 of the club's youth team A-League action, he said young players were in a difficult predicament.

Particularly with Football Federation Australia yet to determine if Gold Coast will survive next season after former owner Clive Palmer was stripped of the licence.

"I haven't seen any notification from Adelaide to say they're chasing any of our players," Mulvey said.

"A number of our players have got offers but they're unwilling to make a decision because a lot of these players want to stay with Gold Coast. The young players would like to stick together."

While Mulvey's future is uncertain, Kosmina and Adelaide United chief executive Glenn Elliott last week conducted annual player reviews, giving the side appraisals after a difficult season.

Kosmina, it appears, will give the Reds a mixed training bag before the domestic season kicks off next October.

Better get a bloody good amount of cash as well if we trade Vidosic for Rocky....

I had a heart attack when I read the headline about Rees as well even though I almed down as I read on.

I hope we don't go too far with this Adelaide boy warrior stuff. A mixture is surely best. Every team needs a Dario or someone special that we know isn't gonna be making the crunching match saving tackles. Rini had a problem with Flores for God's sake for quite a while.
