Their problem is obviously keeping teams out, signing another middle of the road striker is not going to rectify this issue.
I'm looking at centrebacks, a fullback and a better screener for this problem.
I'm not seeing A League level with Fox, Clisby and Tongyik and Stensness.
Kim must start matches very soon as the DM, even for 50 or so minutes.
Gallifuoko must go to centreback (that may work out on one side), Rowles to come back in as well.
Give McGlinchey or Melling a run during matches.

Jair will help them with some potency up front but they definitely need someone to shore up the defence.

Gullifuco, Fox and a few others are squaddies at best.
You can’t help but feel a few injuries and suspensions away from some very shallow depth.

Andy Pengelly would be a low-risk signing. Would get him for peanuts and, if he gets anywhere near his NPL form, he'd be very handy for them. I can't understand why they didn't give the kid a go.

Jets fan here and I actually think Jair could come good. Rarely got to play centrally at Jets but he's way faster and more skilful then Murray and Simon. His record in Korea shows he could finish at some stage in his career.

Re. defence: maybe move Ziggy centrally with GG or Rowles? Miller looked solid to me.

Personally I think CCM are taking a gamble with Jair considering his recent records for whatever reason have been shit.

Although risky, I think they're much better off signing someone we haven't seen in the A-league over someone like Jair.

Jair is probably coming quite cheap. Would be surprised if they didn't ask Duric if he has any striker mates back home!
