https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/chinese-tv-dropped-arsenal-game-after-ozil-tweetThis is Soccer's NBA moment. As many of you recall, a few weeks ago, the manager of the NBA team Houston Rockets tweeted in support of the Hong Protesters. China slammed the NBA, which resulted in top players like LeBron James saying there should be no criticism of China. It's the same situation again. Darryl Morey = Mesut Ozil Houston Rockets = Arsenal F.C. I notice that many of the comments in THE AGE newspaper article describe China in terms of childish terms, rather than saying that China's actions are immoral. Is that because THE AGE censors blocked such comments? Does it trivialise it to say that China is being childish? https://www.theage.com.au/world/asia/chinese-tv-pulls-arsenal-game-coverage-after-ozil-criticism-20191216-p53k7z.htmlI personally do not agree with Islam, but the democratic principle is that I should fight for the Muslims' right to have a level playing field to promote their message. On a level playing field, may the truth prevail. Nevertheless, many Muslim nations do not take this approach. China's actions against the Uighurs has parallels to what some Muslims do against those who speak out against Islam in Islamic countries. In a sense, China is doing to their Muslims, what Muslim governments do to other minorities in their countries. In many Muslim nations, people of other religions are silenced. In countries like Malaysia, it is illegal for Muslims to abandon the Muslim religion. In many Muslim nations, Christians are persecuted, and the Media hardly reports on this. e.g. the Pakistani Christian woman named Asia Bibi who was sentenced to death by the Pakistani courts merely for drinking water from a well that was reserved for Muslims. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-sh/Asia_Bibi
