I think they will try the longballs and counters all game. Important to keep footing and know where opponent is.

A couple of obvious passes getting intercepted. End to end stuff. Gerbsach getting forward easily. Noticed Duncan hasn't passed too well yet. 

Gersbach and Deng allowing Piscopo and Najjarine to go inside. We're winning a fair bit off them when they play out but Syria transitioning well too. 

Risky but Glover takes it well from a corner.

Ffs Duncan come on! He passes it softly to a Syrian but then D'Agostino wins it back and a quick one-two sees Piscopo blast over. Decent intent there.

Couple of lazy passes in the final 3rd. Baccus and Duncan getting more involved. Syria often turning it over early. 

Duncan and Bacchus giving the ball away a lot. And Bouman is poor so far, as he has been in earlier matches.

2 sets of rules. Syrian shoves Deng in chest and it's play on. They run into the back of our man and fall and win a free. 

Bouman is quite rigid. While I enjoy Deng getting forward we're quite exposed on that side. 

Makes me nervous. Shouldn't really be in the 11 but we're thin on selections. Still though I hope he proves us wrong. 

Especially when you have a natural winger in najarine ahead of him being forced to play so narrow. It's pointless. Just like Grant doing all the wide attacking instead of Leckie.

Great pass by Duncan for Gersbach who just cuts it back way too far. 3 people in a box and not one near the ball. 

It becomes too obvious and when the opponent has 6 men behind the ball it becomes a siege and we don't have the trickery to break those lines. We then lose it and they counter. Same recipe every time in Asia.

Ahh the old January 1 thing. Extremely common for refugees in Germany. It appears many have changed their date of birth in order to wipe their old identities due to many incidents of the war and making it harder to be identified by the authorities. 

However these players would generally be under the current government so why they have January 1 is odd.
