Because I got sick of spending more time in my car lost than in the surf when visiting a new and unfamiliar surf spot, I decided to create http://www.surftraveler.org.

Surf Traveler provides practical information about surf spots around the world (basic information that every surfer needs like exact surf spot locations geo-targeted with Google Maps, public restrooms, showers, lodging, food etc…) 

I do this for fun,there is no advertising or promotion on the site.  It's fueled by a desire to see the world,love for surfing, and respect for our oceans and the life in it.
