+x+xThe US will have the worst of developed countries. Africa, Indonesia and India are going to be a disaster. Im no expert, but read an article recently that Indiaessentially shut up shop and told all workers to go home, but this meant literally millions of people left the major cities where they worked (and most slept where they worked) to return to their rural towns. Probably would have been better keeping everyone working as it will blow out of control there. Fairly similar kind of thing happening in Indonesia at the moment from the sounds. I can see us moving on in the relatively near future but international travel for business, tourism etc will surely be out of the question or highly restricted for at least a few years, particularly without a vaccine. They did but developing countries simply have no capacity to measure this stuff and contain it. If you consider the population density of India, Indonesia and Nigeria, I'm not sure how they can socially distance, especially when a lot need to go out to work on a daily basis.

Should have lasted til mid February but it didn't (for some parts). This could be an example of the Earth (which is a living organism) trying to heal itself To apply the same logic to a guy eating a bat doesn't make sense. It isn't even a plague or a disease, or a natural disaster. There is nothing holy or spiritual or meaningful about what is happening. The only thing to take from it is how far off countries are from being able to work together in a global solution, and how unprepared Australia is for a global pandemic. We were up to stage 3 restrictions gradually introduced over 4 weeks before deciding to quarantine the source at the entry point. There are harsher measures in place for managing fruit

The world was literally taken from left of field with regard to China Virus. In all likelihood, there is probably nothing Trump could have done. I've been to New York a few times and am actually a permanent resident of the USA. I was headed to new York to work there on a Green Card and was due to be there on the 4th of May. People live on top of each other there and it is heartbreaking to hear about the devastation. I am looking foreward for all this to be over so I can go over. I have been furloughed to United Airlines as a B737 captain.
