+xEli babalj is supposedly training with Perth dunno why they seem to have heaps of strikers Was just looking at his career. Geez he’s done nothing since he left Australia the first time. 74 games for 15 goals across 9 years and 11 of them were his first stint at the Heart. Surprised he’d get another chance.

CCM have apparently signed Nahuel Bonada from Metrostars. He's scored 11 in 14 this season (Not including Finals). Source: https://twitter.com/nplsa_hub/status/1328248882925432832?s=20

+xEli babalj is supposedly training with Perth dunno why they seem to have heaps of strikers With the players they've signed, I reckon they're gonna play 4-2-2-2 so I'd imagine he'd be their 4th choice striker.

Brandon O'Neill on the verge of signing for Buriram United according to The World Game. He better be prepared to hit the ground running, because there'll be no room for error. They're ruthless with foreign players who get off to slow starts, and by all reports, that's exactly what happened for him in Korea.

He was never good enough for overseas. A-League was the perfect level for him and IMO the team he had around him made him look better than he is.

+xany news on Irvine? its getting pretty ridiculous now.. is he retiring? Very much doubt he's retiring, he's probably not received an offer that he or his agent deems acceptable. He needs to sort his future out sooner rather than later imo, or he'll end up completely forgotten.

The guy on his day is easily one of our best and its absolutely rediculous that it has come to this

+xAnyone know if mrcela will join a club? Heard he was offered around India, but either he decided not to go there, or there was no serous interest. Considering some of the trash from the league that has signed there, I'd imagine it was him who nixed it. Think he'll sign for a club in Europe personally, wouldn't surprise me to see him sign in Croatia tbh. Extremely good defender, it was noticeable when he was absent for Perth, as their defence typically went to bits.

It’s a shame because he could of helped last night and him and Lachman is a pretty strong defence

Extremely good defender, it was noticeable when he was absent for Perth, as their defence typically went to bits. It’s a shame because he could of helped last night and him and Lachman is a pretty strong defence It's a complete travesty that Popa didn't play him more tbh. 32 games in 3 or so seasons at the club is quite an abysmal record really, considering Perth were playing 3 at the back. After Spira left, Mrcela was probably the best CB at the club, bar Wüthrich's brief stint. Interestingly Wüthrich is now at Sturm Graz, so Perth really stuffed themselves over by putting him on [or attempting to put him on] Jobkeeper, which allowed him to leave on a free transfer instead. They probably would've allowed him to go on a free transfer anyway, as A-League clubs are quite shit at commanding transfer fees... Going back to the O'Neill to Buriram rumour for a moment. Honestly can't see it ending well for him there. They signed a Korean DM from Pohang at the start of this season, he lasted 4 games and then had his contract terminated. They've then signed an Uzbek DM who spent the majority of his career at Pakhator, he's lasted 4 games and they're now [supposedly] looking to replace him. They also had Hajime Hosogai last season, who has a pretty damn good CV, and they binned him after a season. Hosogai is now at Bangkok United, and he's doing extremely well for them in a different system to the one that Buriram play. If O'Neill signs for Buriram: I don't see him lasting long.

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xMirza Muratovic has had his contract terminated. Wow, very good young player wonder where he is off to Failed the fat check and unfit apparently. Waz - can you give us the full story? Where is he going? I don’t know where he’s going, he was contracted for another year. But that’s the story doing the rounds ... As I said before, he’s going to Wellington. Source: Phillip Rollo on Twitter. Someone just replied on Rollo's article that Mirza is going to Nix, without any substance to it. The nix just announced it: https://www.wellingtonphoenix.com/news/mirza-muratovic-signs-wellington-phoenix Good signing, no Hemed? Social media circumstantially indicates he's on his way. In that he commented that he's flying to the other side of the world and a Phoenix player liked his comment.

Macarthur have signed Yianni Nicolaou, Charles M'Mombwa and Walter Scott.
Given they have 22 players and still need a couple more, I wonder which players are on scholarships?

Ayom Ayom Majok is reportedly going to join WU on a scholarship deal from Cumberland United.
The amount of talent coming out of SA, especially in attack is just ridiculous right now.
