+x+x+x+x+xGraham Dorrans will sign for WSW at 12pm. A 33 year old who last played in the Scottish Championship, very, very underwhelming. I get finances are tight but still, I can’t see this being a good signing. Disagree on this one tbh mate. Has close to 150 games in the EPL, close to 100 more in the Championship too. He has a good pedigree, somewhat similar to that of Joe Ledley, and they're both around the same age. Was also at Rangers before signing for Dundee, so it's not like he's been grabbed from a bargain bin: the guy is a fully capped international. Decent signing imo, but will be interesting to see how he handles playing in a different climate. Yeah I get he had a good career before that but he seems to be over the hill. I’m getting Dario Jertec vibes here. He was 34 and spent the previous few seasons in the Croatian second tier and actually played really well in his first few games before dropping off massively and was shown the door during the covid break. I think the same will happen here. Fair enough man :) it'll be interesting to see how he goes. Hopefully he can have the same amount of influence at WSW as Schwegler had. I find it interesting that Robinson elected to bring him in, rather than bring Ledley with him from Newcastle. Yeah interesting to see how he goes. From memory Ledley would only come back if he could get his fam into the country, so that’s probably why.

Good technique and positioning just needs to build up the strength and improve his fitness. Did not look out of place one bit last season.

George Timotheou signed a two year deal with Adelaide.
Finally we have some depth in defence. What I’m most pleased about is that he’s a left footer who’s good on the ball and there aren’t too many good CB’s who fit the bill.
