If this is even remotely true it’s why we shouldn’t listen to people who come in and want to impose their “vision” on the game.
Its been obvious for years Arnie is a opportunist and wouldn’t surprise me if he left.

Just hope its true so i can fall back in love with my first love the Socceroos. Fuck off Arnie.

+xWhy quit? Been paid to do nothing all year. I think it’s the opposite. Iirc he did a voluntary pay cut for a few months but the issue is he seems to have volunteered for too many other jobs within FFA. Olyroos, Structure/develop vision among other things. May have overstretched himself to the point where his employers expects him to perform the duties now. He is the highest paid manager in Socceroos history. So FFA would want him working. His manager can say tightening of the belt but he failed to get Dykes and probably sees how bad the team is going to be. Get outta dodge, come back and blame FFA

First Ange, now potentially Arnie.
Maybe the national team gig isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

I reckon he sees the writing on the wall with the NT.
Garbage first team and no players coming through of any quality.
If we somehow get to the WC, we will be hammered severely by any decent team.
Arnie doesn't want to be the one to take that hit to the career so he is gone for sure.

McGree, Souttar, Hrustic, Arzani, Watts, Iredale, Teague, Italiano... that’s rubbish

+xSBS reporting that he’s turned down the offer and will stay with the Socceroos. Why would his agent bring it up. Is this a “look at me, look at me” thing?

Lets get this 100% straight i support GA when he is managing the national team, i always want the Socceroos to win, i believe GA is doing the best he can. But do i think he should be national team manager HELL NO! As with Muscat he is at least having ago with trying to build a career in Europe something GA never tried and the one time he went to the J-league he failed majorly and even with SFC he failed in the ACL. Socceroos manager is one of the best paid national team managers in the World it isnt unreasonable to want someone who has proven he can succeed at a higher level then the AL. I support Australian managers but my love for the national team out-weights support for any individual.

I read the SMH report and the SBS World Game one from Dave Lewis, the SMH got a quote from his agent, SBS got it from a source confirming his rejected the ofter from FC Seoul.
The quote in the SMH article said that he has got 2 offers they have received but cant comment on them any further...
I honestly dont know what to believe, someone has got to spill the beans here.
