Solid game from Ryan. He made a couple of decent saves and looked pretty secure. Not much he could’ve done about the goal, even if his positioning was possibly suspect. He seemed to be caught too far to the near post, leaving most of the goal open.

I would be surprised if he goes straight into a match day squad off one training. Palace currently smack bang in mid table. 8 points off 7th, 15 points above relegation with a quite old selection off centre backs so there might be room to rotate late in the season.
