Irvine should've done better there, couldn't get a header on target.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

90 for Sains, blew a 2-0 lead. Arzani starting Devlin had a blinder by all reports.

http://xanthifc.gr/index.php/player/jafari-alessandro/Never heard of this kid before, but seems he is the next Aussie at Xanthi, he's been involved with the first team in the last month. Spent time at WSW's academy before joining a club in Sweden and then joining Xanthi.

Arzani 19 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZ71CM_NNeEDevlin got sponsors MOTM and the fans a wet for him If he can keep it up he'll be in Arnies squad as i think he's Arnies type of midfielder that can buzz around like O'Neill used to do for Sydney

True Our mid was cooked by game 3 and he should have been used more Just goes to show that if Atchinson and Metcalf get the right move they can hit the ground running like Devlin and Genreau Future looks bright although I'm still pissed at Jurics comments

+xSouttar didn't play a full game. Is he injured?? Copped a kick apparently and was subbed after 78. Post Match interview with the coach. How is Harry Souttar?MON: We'll just need to see. He got a kick and has tightened up a bit.He was really good defensively today, particularly in the second half in terms of seeing the ball out and not resorting to conceding corners or throw-ins. He did really well that way. We'll just see how he is in terms of the injury. Hopefully it's nothing to serious.

devlin not playing more was a real surprise for me. I thought against spain in particular we could use his ball winning ability
he is not exactly a conservative player either, comfortable enough on the ball. Guess Arnie prefers others

Guess Arnie prefers others McGree, Metcalf and Genreau had been consistent around the youth set up for some years Devlin had been promising at Sydney youth but really only had the one season of good first 11 football at Wellington and hadn't really featured from memory in Olympic qualifying I was worried his move overseas may have come too soon for 1 good season in the A-League but he may be one of those players with the right mentality i think we can all agree he's a good player and seems like a good bloke

+x+x+x+xHopefully Deni is just trying to force his way into the senior setup. Australia probably think he definitely wants to represent us. And now if they hear he wants to play for Croatia that they'll have to try and call him up for the Oman and Japan Qualifiers. I disagree. I think he wants to play for Croatia. As I said on Twitter, he must have spoken to someone at the Croatian FA and they must have expressed interest or else he is giving up on a chance to play international football with us Seriously, who cares? the fact that we don't have a striker good enough for the national team and hes playing for a team in champions league qualifiers plus europa league also. We should be caring about losing him. Yeah its disappointing if we lose him. But if his heart beats for Croatia and we select him will his heart really be in it? Hopefully its just a ploy to get selected, but if that is what he said then its a pretty strong indication he does not feel Australian

He got into the side probably a 3rd of the way through he'd first season at the nix then didn't look back
