+x+xSouttar didn't play a full game. Is he injured?? Copped a kick apparently and was subbed after 78. Post Match interview with the coach. How is Harry Souttar?MON: We'll just need to see. He got a kick and has tightened up a bit.He was really good defensively today, particularly in the second half in terms of seeing the ball out and not resorting to conceding corners or throw-ins. He did really well that way. We'll just see how he is in terms of the injury. Hopefully it's nothing to serious. What are you guys new here? This is an Aussie abroad, killing it too…100% season ending injury.

+x+xdevlin not playing more was a real surprise for me. I thought against spain in particular we could use his ball winning ability he is not exactly a conservative player either, comfortable enough on the ball. Guess Arnie prefers others McGree, Metcalf and Genreau had been consistent around the youth set up for some years Devlin had been promising at Sydney youth but really only had the one season of good first 11 football at Wellington and hadn't really featured from memory in Olympic qualifying I was worried his move overseas may have come too soon for 1 good season in the A-League but he may be one of those players with the right mentality i think we can all agree he's a good player and seems like a good bloke He had two excellent seasons, where he was more consistent than Metcalfe and Genreau. was the most underrated player in the competition. every time he played for the nix he was one of if not their best player

Great to see Devlin off to a great start, its good we got a great batch of young midfielders coming through with Genreau, Metcalfe, Devlin ready to be involved for the national team post 2022. Definitely an area where we are quite strong at which hold us in good stead into the future.

From some hints off social media looks like Tete Yengi brother of Kusini will be joining Ipswich Town. He played for Newcastle Jets early last season after being super impressive with Adelaide Comets in the NPL.

Does Jarred Gillet count as an 'Aussie abroad'? First O/S ref to do a Premier League game last night. Congrats.

+xAnge will need a win tonight or the blowtorch will be unpacked and might even fire up…. Same pattern with every club so far I reckon he had maybe a bad dozen games with every team he has coached before they came good

Ouzinidis starting for esbjerg and mabil on the bench for midget land. Ouzinidis getting regular game time in the danish second division is fantastic

Degenek bench in Serbia, surely rested ahead of their midweek Europa League away trip to Ludogrets. Already up 0-3 after 20 minutes, nothing to worry about there.

+xOuzinidis getting regular game time in the danish second division is fantastic And people complain about the Asians Abroad thread because it sits next to this thread in comparison. Son and Tomiyasu are starting for Tottenham and Arsenal respectively right now, incidentally.

Rogic full 90 - largely useless. Title race all but done with more dropped points for Ange.

At this rate , Ange should be gone by Xmas. On Celtic page their fans were furious n caling him out. His style only works with the right players who can play his style ,if not, Ange didn't have a plan B as always. Just like when he coached the socceroos when things didn't go his way he struggled to get a result.

Very true. Although ouzinidis is probably somewhere between 10-15 in line for the socceroo’s CB position. Hardly fair when you compare him to arguably two of Japan’s best players. That being said I see your point and agree with it. Parts of Asia and Japan especially are very far in front of us

If Ange loses the Europa game and the next league game you’d think he’s gone.
