+xAt this rate , Ange should be gone by Xmas. On Celtic page their fans were furious n caling him out. His style only works with the right players who can play his style ,if not, Ange didn't have a plan B as always. Just like when he coached the socceroos when things didn't go his way he struggled to get a result. They hit the post 3 times and the striker blasted a tap in over the bar from point blank range. Not sure what Ange is meant to do about that.

+xMatt Ryan back on the bench Hopefully he starts at least one of the next 2 games, home to Monaco in Europa League on Friday and then away to Getafe next Monday (all times early morning in Australia).

The more the merrier. A loss depth wise for NZ, solid DM. A little way off the Roos but plenty of time for him to keep developing in Norway.

+xIf Ange loses the Europa game and the next league game you’d think he’s gone. Not looking good now. Last two league results have been really bad.

if we are talking ifs and buts Dundee United should've had a pen and us down to 10, squad is paper thin but the only attacking player we had on our bench was Moffat and he didn't even get on, Liam Shaw is also a better player than Soro and he can't be any worse than James McCarthy has been since coming in- must be terrible in training if he can't get a game.

Indeed not looking great, clearly the injuries haven't helped but I also think maybe the opposition coaches have worked Angeball out? I mean Ange isnt known to be flexible or look to evolve tactically as he's often said he tries to plan A better. As seen in the Socceroos we saw it first hand when opposition work him out.

I mean did he get worked out though? He had probably the worst roos team I have ever seen taking over from Holger and got us to a world cup trying to play a style that relied less on an aerial threat. Not that much less but certainly quite a bit less. I would say he probably added quite a bit of value to the roos I wonder where we would be with cahill retired if we didn't change For every team he has coached they have gone through a rough early period. It happens, hope he sticks round long enough for his methods to bear fruit

Tete Yengi has joined Ipswich’s U23 side and is on the bench for their game against Bristol City.

It happens, hope he sticks round long enough for his methods to bear fruit The game against Thailand exposed he's style a bit, the high octane style wouldn't work against a technically gifted side but credit to Ange going to a 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 during the end of the campaign as it got us through. I just hope Ange could adapt he's system if he needs to get results fast otherwise he might get the sack by being stubborn.

I’m not seeing any tactical flaws, personel seems to be the main issue, he currently only has 1 fit striker and he is terrible. The gap between his better players and average players is probably too big. Issue is it’s the better ones that are out injured (Kyogo,McGregor and Forrest), Giakoumakis is still injured as well and hasn’t even debuted yet, he essentially has no bench. They hit the bar 3 times yesterday, if one of them goes in it’s a different conversation. Anyway don’t think he will survive unless key players return after the Leverkusen match.

Thomas starting, don't know what's going on with Duncan.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Came off in the 63rd minute in a 3-2 loss. He was still in the options for the man of the match for his team so must've played ok.

You failed to mention the stonewall penalty denied to DUFC , that would have changed the match also.

+x+xOuzinidis starting for esbjerg and mabil on the bench for midget land. Ouzinidis getting regular game time in the danish second division is fantastic Happy the bloke is playing, but from a Socceroos point of view we shouldn't be happy a 21 year old is playing in the danish second division was never going to get into Everton team ahead of Braithwaite

I could be wrong, but Valpato wasn't included in Italy's u19 squad this time. He did train with Roma's first team though, which is pretty impressive for a 17 yr old. Wish they'd give it one more crack to get him in the Olyroo's squad next month
