After won MOTM Ryan was back to the bench again. Clearly they bought him to be their 2nd keeper. Very unfair. Just like what Arsenal did to him last season.

If I was him I’d go to second division side and try get them promoted. His to go for the bench 

Disappointing but completely predictable. Coach clearly using extreme competition for that spot to improve performances. There were some who claimed that after last game he was on his way to being one of the best keepers in the world, which is up there with the most ridiculous takes in the world. 

If you cant get another start after a MOTM performance then you never are going to. I think he needs to leave as it is clear he will never be 1st choice. Its actually very poor management because top performances are not being rewarded which can lead to a feeling of favouritism. 

Very hard on maty but if a coach has his number 1 that has so far had them at the top of the table you can understand why he would bring him straight back in. Was the other keeper injured?

No.1 keeper Alex Remiro with an error to give Athletic Club an equaliser in injury time. Surely Ryan should be playing more now, especially after his MOTM performance and Remiro's howler.

Stensness scored a goal overnight. Playing 90 every week, very consistent performer based on FotMob scores, very versatile player. Chance he could get called up?

Ryan might get to play against small teams here n there but the coach won't put him number 1. Some GK  can sign a contract to be the number 1 only. Matty Ryan can transform to be superman but still their 2nd choice. On Real Sociedad FB their fans still said good things about Romero. Matty just made a wrong club move as this club just needs a good 2nd keeper that's why they wanted him.

the fact he even got a contract there speaks volumes, they don't sign foreign players unless they absolutely have to. They clearly rate him.

He was a star for us last season, I’d be in favour for sure, especially as we don’t have a lot of depth coming through at CB for the national team.

True, Maty is 1 of only 5 foreigners in their entire squad. 

Everyone got a contract. The club needs a solid 2nd goal keeper, in case something goes wrong the 2nd can step up just like any positions. No matter what happened, Romero will remain their number 1. Even with last night mistake on their page their fans still supports him cuz he has been doing a good job this season.

And yes they do rate Matty highly but probably still their number 2 unless Romero do something bad every games.

Nuno has been sacked by Tottenham. Given he was rumoured to be the reason Tottenham were interested in Souttar then chances are Tottenham won't still be chasing him.
