+xTyrese Francois played 90 mins for the first time in ages overnight. Not sure what that means for him in January? They could've just been desperate with injuries maybe, as it looks like he was playing upfront? No he didnt play for the first team, he played for the u/23's. He returned playing for the u/23's on 9th december.

Had a chuckle about Hearts fans asking online whether we have strikers. Boyle and Maclaren need not apply. Would be decent for Taggart though.

Strain subbed on in the 74th minute
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Hammond with two assists and a full 90mins for the young violets, he must be getting close to a run in the first team.

AMB and Rogic with full games in Scotland.
We know how good Rogic is but AMB playing every week is huge. If arnie is fair dinkum he has to be in the next squad.

Not having a go at the kid but if you can’t get a game there, then you’re probably NPL standard. People seem to think that any European league is a step up from the A-Leagues and it’s just not. Obviously I’m not saying the A-League is world class by any stretch either but Scotland just isn’t a step up from our league.

I've never seen AMB play, but he couldn't displace Glover as first choice in the Olyroos at the Olympics, and I don't rate Glover at all. If this is a measure of his ability, then I don't want to see him with the Socceroos anytime soon.

You had Glover who was statistically the second worse keeper in the league, a backup League One keeper and a guy playing in the English sixth tier and apparently didn’t even do well at that level while the likes of Margush and Delianov missed out despite having decent first seasons as being a first choice keeper in the A-League.

Hopefully he can now get into the starting 11 for the U19's at 18 years of age.

I agree with what you’re saying but disagree that he doesn’t warrant selection. Scotland still has Celtic and rangers in the league who are in the Europa league and conference league knockouts. I agree some teams are poor but he’s playing better quality opposition than every other keeper except Ryan and vukovic

The Scottish league is streets ahead of the A league, whatever myopic vision you may have.

I’m saying that if you can’t get a game for Ross County, the worst team in the Scottish top flight, you belong in the NPL. And no, the Scottish league is not a step up at all bar Celtic and Rangers. On par with us probably.

Regardless, credit to AMB for playing consistently in a good league.

On par with us probably. Ollie Bozanic couldn’t really consistently start for Hearts and he’s one of the best midfielders in the A-League. Why don’t you go off Cam Devlin, who actually plays in the league - who spoke about the higher tempo and quality.

Not sure what you mean Riccardi is 20 and hasnt played a game for Roma first team, went out on loan last year to play in Serie B now he's back. Christian should do the same would be better having a at least 10-15 games in serie B. Could be bolter for WC.
