+x+xSilver glover burgess glover and Robertson starting Mcgreezil and yengi bench along with souttar You forgot " Gettin Jones" the new Socceroos RB and a regular starter for Bolton. He also played a full game and played well. 2nd on the ladder now & with their current form his team should get promoted & win the League 1 instead of Portsmouth. Yeah will definitely be keeping an eye on him now. So Baccus could've been playing in the Championship next season, had he not rejected the move to Bolton!!

Volpato on against AC Milan. Been a while since we've had a player play against a big club like this in a top 5 league. He's really starting to consistently get minutes in the serie A. Looking good!

Looking good! about half an hour per match he wins a lot duels for his age. Most of our wonder youth start of losing most of their duels, but other parts of their game make up for it. As they mature they win more duels

+xRowles, Nieuwenhof, Atkinson & Baccus starting. Where’s Devlin? He used to get regular minutes, scored a crucial match winner for Hearts but has disappeared. Injured? There were high hopes for our players in Scotland at one stage, but that seems to have dried up. I haven’t heard any transfer rumours for Baccus for a long time, Rowles seems to have settled in as an OK player for a non-OF team and Strain is also injured. I think most of us hoped it would be a stepping stone to something bigger, but that seems not to have eventuated.

I'd like to see how Rowles would go amongst a bunch of very good players. I think his style is fine for Bundesliga or Serie A. He's really gotten plaudits the past 8 weeks or so from Hearts fans saying he's dusted himself off and gone another level.
While I enjoy our players going to the Championship the novelty has somewhat worn off that it'd be great to see Rowles on the continent and say Baccus or Gauci go to the Belgian league.

Looking good! Can't get too excited until he officially chooses to play for Australia. ATM it seems like he doesn't give a F & wanting to focus on his club to get his chance for Italy.

Interesting, that’s good to hear from Hearts fans.

Even if they do, it’s not a bad move because he should get plenty of minutes in the Scottish Championship.

No, what you shouldn't do is overreact until he makes a decision. Let him focus on his club. It's so important for players like Robertson, Circati and Volpato to focus on their club first and foremost. Nothing is given to you in Europe and consistency is the key and playing international football can hurt a players chances. I don't care if he doesn't play for Australia for another two years, if that means he is a top 5 league starter and we will reap the rewards in the future. Something 90% of Australian players have struggled to do in Europe in the past 15 years. Should be a big focus. There's also a lot of evidence that says he will play for Australia but anyways similar to Circati in September 2021 turning down the NZ friendlies; it's not the right time. Also, support him!

Yeah I'll support him unless he declares and watch every game of his. Even if he declares for Italy no hard feelings and proud our development system was good enough to produce him (even if his journey also highlighted our short comings) In the end he is a kid and its a game

The other thing is you get affirmative action as a local. Most of our youngsters in the a league would get much less game time in another league of a similar level. The average Italian in the seri a is weaker than the average foreigner. If he holds a starting sport for half a season then he has the experience at this level to standout

He does not get mentioned often, but Jon Brady is doing an awesome job with Northampton. Survival would of been their goal this year, but they have an outside shot at play-offs. Would be great to see him move to a bigger club at the end of the season.

Boro fan verdict on the bororoos Glover hasn't really convinced me at all tbh. He's made some decent saves in the games he's played but he's poor on crosses, his handling is suspect and his decision making when coming off his line or not isn't good at all. He seems to have good reflexes and distribution so hopefully he will improve.
Mcgree had a good start to the season even tho we were struggling then as soon as we started hitting form he got injured and he hasn't started since. He's one of our best players for sure and he's added goals to his game this season the little he's played. The only part of his game that I think needs improving is attacking the wing and getting the odd cross in playing wide left for us I'd like to see him get a bit more service in for the forwards.
Silvera at the start of the season was really poor if I'm being honest just looked out of his depth technically but he's improved as the season has gone on probably getting used to the league and teammates he's scored a few important goals for us coming off the bench and looks a threat cutting in from the left. His passing and crossing needs to improve if he's to get a starting spot but he's a good option from the bench for now.

+xIpswich in a real form slump. 0 all against the struggling Stoke with half an hour left and haven't won in 5 games Hope they snap out of this Do we really want them to get promoted now that Mass has retired from the Roos? If they go up it'll be a lot harder for Burgess to keep his starting spot etc, as they'll probably bring in new players in all positions. If they stay in the Championship he's pretty much guaranteed 90 mins most games

Forgotten about ‘Aussie Abroad’ player Lyndon Dykes has had a quiet time lately in ECL with 22 games but only 3 goals, 0 assists. Many thought he was the 1 that got away for Socceroos but doesn’t seem that way lately
