Volendam are playing football at least this game, but still 5 3 2 formation with no wingers....so tough for kuol to break in....

Yeah we've got some good young players coming through. Crazy that he's getting on the bench at 18 yrs old, as he's yet to play a senior game - I don't think he debuted for City before he left, but I could be wrong?

I think our golden generation cbs didnt play in big 5 leagues till 24ish? Any one know who was the youngest?

Circati could be unprecendented for his position for australia. If eposito joins him that would be pretty incredible

None of them apart from Neill & Zelic had huge careers in the top 5 leagues.

Okon injuries curtailed his career in Italy & England was tail end.
Moore mainly in Rangers, 1 season with Crystal Palace.
Muscat only 9 games in the top 5 leagues

Okon played a decent amount of games at both boro and Leeds both under El Tel ! 

Moore played at Borussia M'gladbach for a season or 2 also

Don't think he's been mentioned in here before but...

Louis Agosti made his Serie C starting debut a few days ago. Started and played 75 minutes. He's an 18yo midfielder. 

seri c and 18 years old is nothing to sneeze at!

Concerning considering he's our starting #6 for the Socceroos. Guess that means O'Neill will be first choice now. 

Souttar bench in the Cup. Circati bench - probably due to his mistake last game - he's come on following a second yellow to one of the starting CBs. 

I've said everything that can be said about Souttar's situation. I just try to ignore it now and hope the misery is over this summer.

On that note, O'Neill's suspension will carry over to the Lebanon game. It's not like Baccus won't be picked. He's an Arnold favourite. He's got to lift.

Good results for Portsmouth with Derby losing. Bolton currently behind. I'd like Portsmouth to go up. Bolton as Jones and Iredale get the Championship exposure. I don't expect Bilokapic to be starting for Peterborough in the Championship. It's not like Elder hasn't played Championship before but a promotion won't get him back into the national team short list anyway.

I saw Okon just boss Ghana around in a friendly in Sydney, it was awesome
Moore was an excellent defender for Socceroos.

But neither had great careers in the top 5 leagues of Europe, lets be real.

Yes, but this was much later in their careers (closer to, if not at aged 30). We're talking about the 20-25 age range of careers

if Circati and Esposito start playing Serie A regularly... where does that leave Souttar?

Reminds me of volendam tho where volpato, like kuol, gets few touches but they are nice touches
