McGree played second half. Birmingham City fans very impressed with his performance, wondering why it took a new manager for him to get a game. They’ve now won 3 in a row

+x+x+x+xhow come no one ever mentions Karacic? most underrated player we have... the Croatian league is decent quality we seen that with Dinamo this year in the Europa League. Brescia in with a chance of promotion if they can get a run going. Yeah but outside of Hajduk and Dinamo it's def worse than a-league imo Big difference is the players are technically better and 1 or 2 from teams can go on to big careers where we have 1 or 2 from our league full stop. The first sentence was confirmed by players playing in the Croatian league decades ago. Many European leagues feature this phenomenon. Like H Split and Dinamo Z, they have two or three dominant powerhouse clubs, often with European pedigree, while the rest of the clubs play at a much lower standard. Wait... is this the real decentric?!?!?! The great one has returned! Yes, it is. A current Mod accidentally deleted my old D account. To activate it, I had to use an old email address that is defunct. I had to start a new account.

+x+x+x+xThis thread is so depressing these days. Gone are the days when we actually had players playing for clubs in the top 10 european leagues. It's now basically an aussies [playing u23's/reserves abroad threa We've still got Degenek and Mabil at CL sides, Holland captaining one of the better EL sides, Irvine and Boyle now at an EL club, leckie and Hrustic coming off the bench in the bundesliga, Rogic a starter/squad rotation player at a top 50 club, Ryan backup at a top 20 side, plus talk of Souttar going to PL club, Watts on bench at PL, Mooy is a top 5 league player easily... actually things look a lot better now than they did in 2013/14. For context we only have 4 active players in the top 4 leagues but only a very few are getting on the pitch on a regular basis. We need to build that top 4 league representation as well as increase the amount of players outside of that especially in first division leagues. For comparison our Asian neighbor Japan have around 10 in top 4 league representation and the rest in very good leagues outside of the top 4. 'Top 4 leagues' isn't the be all and end all though. For instance, whose got the better players - Celtic or Spezia/Benevento/Koln/Arminia.. The marker we used to use at least when we were referring to the golden gen was top 4 leagues or a Champions League Club. Celtic, Red star and these days Midtylland are big clubs finishing in the champions league qualification spots every year. I'd increase that to 5 big leagues, BOH. A few seasons ago I watched a lot of the French top league, the Championat for a few successive years - very impressive depth in that league. I also agree with your comment, BOH. That is that sometimes being a powerhouse team in a weaker league, which can guarantee European Champ League or Europa League football, with a minimum of 6 games, can be better than, or comparable to, a bottom team in the the big five. It would definitely be preferable if a team plays 12 games of European comp football.

There can be some pretty decent possession based teams in the Championship, whereas others are simply awful long ball, high ball, second ball teams.

Mcgree got the assist for the second goal as well. Shot from outside the box saved by the keeper and the striker tapped home. Great signs

Behich, Holland starting Armenakas came off the bench Mileusnic involved in a goal Another clean sheet for Langerak Thomas started, leading 2-0 Jeggo started, down 3-0 at halftime against AEK Delbridge started against Jeonbuk but got polished 5-0... 75' for Juric against Dinamo, 82' for Kalik
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

A few results from the last couple of days: Makrillos lost the Bulgarian cup semi 1-0. Portsmouth had a 0-0 with Crewe with Williams playing 90 and getting a pretty average rating. They are in the final playoff spot in League One at the moment. I’m hoping they hang in there (they’re my team) but they have been very inconsistent this season. Dougall vs Burgess ended 0-0 with Blackpool leapfrogging Portsmouth into 5th. Dougall got a 6.9, while Burgess got 7.9 and second highest rating in his team. Statistically, he has been the most consistent defender in their team all season. Burton beat Doncaster 3-0, with Edwards getting MoM with a rating of 8.7 and 2 assists.
Still no Luongo for Sheffield Wednesday. They lost 2-0 and are pretty much guaranteed relegation to League One.
Bolton look set for promotion from League Two, with Gethin Jones putting in a top shift in a 1-0 win over Salford. He and the scorer were singled out at as the standouts in reports I’ve seen. They are the only team to have won at Salford this season.
There seems to have been no Watts for Southampton’s first team or U23 yesterday, which is concerning.
In Israel, Maccabi Haifa won 3-0 and sit in second place. One point behind first. Rukavitsya hasn’t been scoring as much recently but the team keeps winning.
In Portugal div 2, Anthony Carter has been getting regular game time, popping up with crucial goals, every now and then. He played 66 mins yesterday, but couldn’t get on the scoreboard in a 3-1 loss. They are in 14th place, but the 4 teams below them are pretty close.
There has been no Sainsbury for the last 2 or 3 games in Belgium.
Mitjylland beat Aarhus 4-1 on Monday, with Mabil playing 65 min, but apparently being pretty average. No other Aussies played for Aarhus.

The Championship - second tier of English football How is the championship VS the MLS in terms of quality? Top of Champo way better than MLS, but starts to even out pretty quickly the further you go down the table. Mid to bottom of the table Champo squads would struggle with the top of MLS. Bottom of the Championship is absolute rubbish. Influence of all the South American and Mexican players in MLS really starting to make the difference, as well as young Americans coming from the academies. Not a retirement league any longer, though will still get the occasional signing.
Lots of decent Chsmpionship players have gone to MLS and been just dreadful and not up to standard, while others like Bradley Wright Phillips have been class. Hard comparing the two sometimes, tbh.

Mabil starting, while Thomas is on the bench as they play against each other in the second leg of the Danish cup semi.
Aarhus are on in a few hours, but chances of any of those three Aussies playing is pretty slim. Gersbach may get minutes, as he’s usually on the bench in the league. They are trailing 2-0 on aggregate after the first leg.
It would be cute to have 4 Aussies in the cup final, but that’s very much wishful thinking.

Mileusnic could win 3 cups in three seasons.
We also lost the cup final in 17/18 so this will be his 4th cup final in a row.
