And there it is. The establishment will try to convince us that they are directing the code in the right direction. They are so poor and the game is so fractured. Sponsors must be gullible to believe it all.

+x+xLook at the Wollongong Stadium, looks like a Cow paddock, Cows that have been having sexual relations with Bulls, what a shithouse surface! No One has gone to the Wellington vs Wanderers match. Why do the APL continue to prostitute itself and keep to shit deals like having to play a match at the neutral Wollongong? The APL have obviously not gone out of they're way to keep the momentum going, coming from the Socceroos. How can Soccer not feel embarrassed? I know, because they have no shame. O'Rourke and Townsend do me personally a favour and just resign. They need to fuck these shitey wee deals off. Home means home, not a travelling circus as they have in other sports in this country. How can the APL and FA for that matter, allow for such negligence in they're decision making? The NRL, AFL, Cricket and Basketball, all view our local premier competition as a Basketcase run by Tossers! How can this motley crew introduce exansion, an NSD, Transfer fee reformation and a reduction in junior fees-as FA are committing White Collar Crime in what parents are being charged to send little Johnny or Mario, or little Claire or Despina to play on weekends. This match Wellington vs Wanderers is so nasty. Very vanilla at a neutral venue. Furthermore, Wollongong Do Not attract the Sponsors, never had money during NSL, have always been a Mariners (in finances) in the NSL. They will Never afford to compete in the A League, or maybe even the NSD-if it actually comes along. I have the NSD starting in 2025, and may further still blow out again. Keep an eye on the very unpopular year 2034, no explanation required, just the use laterall thinking.

+xIs the Aleague (men's) back ON this weekend? Sounds like the APL didnt have a lot of faith in our boys beating Argentina? I guess they didn't have a huge amount of time to play around with (although they probably could have started the season a bit earlier). The thinking may have been if the socceroos exceed expectations (which they did) there are only about 8 players missing from across the 12 clubs.

+x+xI just don't get it. We start(ed) this season with 6/8 away from home including away to Wellington twice. How does that make sense in anyone's world? Didnt AU have to play their first few away due to their stadium upgrade? We were away the last game pre-WC break, so thats 7 out of 8. then we have 7 out of out last 10 at home. I agree its bullshit. Yeah supposedly the first few you're right sorry and it's pretty even now after these next two away games. I'm just annoyed we don't get a post world cup home game till after xmas coz i think people would have turned out in big numbers to give Goodwin a welcome home.

+xBR v AU - 6,000 Nix v WSW - 6,000 SFC v City - 13,000 PG v WU - 4,000 CCM v Newcastle - 10,000 MFC v Victory - 4,500 Victory are away for 6 out of the next 7 weeks (although 2 of them are away derbies, plus another Adelaide away). Not so sure if that’s a smart idea when you are trying to build momentum on the back of the WC. But at least the Xmas derby is likely to sell out. I just don't get it. +x+x+x+xOne amazing stat: Sydney has had more spectators in the first three games of this season than they had in the entirety of 2021-22. Crazy! I'm loving the league this year and it seems I'm not the only one. The "A-League is dying, put it out of its misery" crowd are awful quiet round here at the moment. The opinions of people who criticised attendances during the covid period were never credible. What will be interesting is how the A-League performs compared to the season immediately before covid. The AFL had a 12% drop in attendance between the two seasons. The NRL had a 6.5% increase. That figure will be skewed by the addition of WU and Macarthur, which we all know have been catastrophic for attendances. Would be interesting to have an end-of-season calculation without the expansion clubs. Perth and Brisbane are also in shitty stadium situations this season (and are general dumpster fires). The stadium situation should at least be better next season, and we can only pray they get better owners at some point.

+x+x+x+xOne amazing stat: Sydney has had more spectators in the first three games of this season than they had in the entirety of 2021-22. its not amazing, sydney travel sucks and Kogarah sucked getting to mind you I drive and parking sucked there as well. Many games I couldn't be bothered attending. Nothing like the SFS as I still call it mind you its too large generally barring derbies and mv games.. Funnily enough our crowds at Kogarah we're pretty decent for the first few seasons. I agree people just got sick of getting there + the absence of rain cover for 90% of the stadium didn't help, considering it rains every day in Sydney. Another for me the atmoshere was blah - with the exception of the Cove, their numbers varied alot as well, small crowds and Cog Rah - the area is just meh. I voted hands down for Leichardt used more despite its own hurdles but viewing football its size is spot on and the vibe is better imo. Yeah the atmosphere sucked at Kogarah. Different feel like a real football crowd at times with people picnicking on the hill etc. The one exception I can think of was the 6-1 win vs Victory in the semi final in 2019. Place was rocking.
