+xLook at the Wollongong Stadium, looks like a Cow paddock, Cows that have been having sexual relations with Bulls, what a shithouse surface! No One has gone to the Wellington vs Wanderers match. Why do the APL continue to prostitute itself and keep to shit deals like having to play a match at the neutral Wollongong? The APL have obviously not gone out of they're way to keep the momentum going, coming from the Socceroos. How can Soccer not feel embarrassed? I know, because they have no shame. O'Rourke and Townsend do me personally a favour and just resign. They need to fuck these shitey wee deals off. Home means home, not a travelling circus as they have in other sports in this country.

How can the APL and FA for that matter, allow for such negligence in they're decision making? The NRL, AFL, Cricket and Basketball, all view our local premier competition as a Basketcase run by Tossers! How can this motley crew introduce exansion, an NSD, Transfer fee reformation and a reduction in junior fees-as FA are committing White Collar Crime in what parents are being charged to send little Johnny or Mario, or little Claire or Despina to play on weekends. This match Wellington vs Wanderers is so nasty. Very vanilla at a neutral venue. Furthermore, Wollongong Do Not attract the Sponsors, never had money during NSL, have always been a Mariners (in finances) in the NSL. They will Never afford to compete in the A League, or maybe even the NSD-if it actually comes along. I have the NSD starting in 2025, and may further still blow out again. Keep an eye on the very unpopular year 2034, no explanation required, just the use laterall thinking.

And there it is. The establishment will try to convince us that they are directing the code in the right direction. They are so poor and the game is so fractured. Sponsors must be gullible to believe it all.

Was this a Wellington home game? If so why aren’t they playing in Wellington? Wellington surely aren’t still doing their home away from home thing, are they?

More than decent attendance when your team has been shite for a couple of years.

+xNew allianz is epic. Not surprised we are still pulling strong numbers despite our so so form. The most populous city in the country in a brand new stadium against the number one team in the comp, and a Melbourne team to boot, as well as the home team who are trying to prove they're still relevant and you got 15000 people. You're obviously ecstatic at the support? Not.

But seriously, if people genuinely think that 14k is a good crowd for that match at a brand new home stadium, then its pretty sad all round. Even the Wanderers pretenders were getting more than that when their new stadium opened up. I can forgive the 4k in brisbane and the 2k in the Gong, but this is meant to be Sydney.

I was at the CCM V Newcastle match. It had 7K in attendance. It's scary to think this was one of the better attended matches. In all honesty, why on earth would anyone put this match on at 3pm on a summer Sunday afternoon in blistering heat. It was like standing in a fire pit. Every other sensible person was at the beach, fishing or boating. If this was put on at 5pm or 7pm on a Saturday I reckon it would have easily clocked 10K. Well done at least to central coast and newie for at least dragging in 7K.

One of the changes I thought was happening with the APL was the end of of these idiotic peak summer heat kick-offs. The incompetent management of the theme competition is unending. It's so much so much depressing. The original plans for summer football ways back in the NSL days assumed night games tomorrow avoid the heat. The APL has been a massive, massive disappointment on every level.

I wouldn't have thought that Sydney FC v Melbourne City has any sought of rivalry. So far this year Sydney have larger home crowds for games against WSW, Victory and Adelaide which sounds right to me.

Brisbane are all over the place and that stadium is too far for anyone to travel but why do they train in the Gold Coast? They have no idea how to build an identity.

Jets v Roar: Hopefully 0 after 20 minutes. Nix v AU: Hopefully 0 after 20 minutes. CCM v SFC: Hopefully 0 after 20 minutes. Melbourne Derby: Hopefully 0 after 20 minutes (it’s a shame because it was headed for a sellout). WU v WSW: Hopefully 0 after 20 minutes. MFC v PG: Hopefully 0 after 20 minutes.
