What an awful and poor quality game that was. Both teams very sloppy. SFC extremely gassed afetr 60 ins and proceeded at walking pace and numerous brain explosions. WSW were better in the final 30, albeit against a team with no legs. not sure why we're so buggered given we're not the only team with a sporadic schedule.

Think WSW have a long season ahead of them. Lack of quality up front and in goals will likely kill them in the big moments throughout the season.

Derby wise it’s red & black.

Trophies are the end result and all that matter.

Derby wise it’s red & black.

It's funny. When we were dominating Wanderers we couldn't beat Victory, now it's the other way around.

Was at ANZ. Imo, smurfs played better in the first half. Had the clearest chances including a shot from bug that hit the post. Having the likes of Ninko and Caceres as playmakers gives any team good ball possession and distribution. Ours, troissi and muller aren’t the same quality.

In the second half the game opened up and players found more time and space to create chances. It was an even game with both teams having opportunities  to open the score.
The penalty was soft but it gave the ref and VAR no other option. It was an intentional obstruction by troissi on ninko.
Birnie for Cox gave the Wanderers more speed and strength going forward. Imo, Ibini should start.

Both coaches made changes and those worked out more beneficial for WSWs.
Cortica did us a favour by replacing Caceres ( their best player at that moment ) with BJH. The German smurf, as when he was red & black, still an average player. No impact.

We’re thankful to Redders for levelling the scores for us .After Redders’ gift, no much else happened. It felt as if  both teams were satisfied with a draw.
Not a bad game for the neutrals. At the end, Sydney is still red & black.

Except it's not. Sky Blues are still the champions.

He had no choice but to run into him as he was impeded.

The diving chunt was not impeded. He ran into Troisi.
Ninkovic clearly falls over on a couple of occasions and was awarded a free kick.

There were other times when he was taken out unfairly.
The referee clearly made incorrect calls for 3 supposed  fouls on Ninkovic AND fails to award a free kick in the same attacking movement for fouls on Muller and Cox (with Retre in back).

Alex King had a poor game

Overall a decent match. Both teams had their moments of fluidity and control, and it was good to see the number of younger players getting a go.

Exactly. Stepped across him on purpose.

Late to this having just seen the replay but looks a pen clear as day. In the replay you can see Troisi's eyes on Ninkovic, and he tries to disguise it but he moves to block the run. I'm a neutral too.

I can't believe the amount of people saying that's a penalty.

Yes I agree Troisi clearly wasn't going to get to the ball and chose to get in the way, but Ninkovic ran into him, the exact same thing happens hundreds of times when defenders guard a ball against an attacking player to let it go out for a goal kick.

For me that's clearly no penalty, however I'm not going to sit here and complain all night about it, especially considering we got a lucky goal ourselves.

If think a draw is easily a fair result for both.

He had no choice but to run into him as he was impeded.

Poor finishing from both teams.

Definite penalty- surely Troisi should have got at least a yellow card for that?

Pretty clear pen for me, unnecessary from Troisi

Sydney look good, but I'm not convinced Barba and Buhagiar is going to work as a partnership.

Clearly stepped across Ninko to block his run.
