At the end of the day I agree with Archie (Stenson) Thompson, that 'Carlo Arrmerento' of Glory is a wonderful goal scorer, and the grand final where Archie scored five of six goals ranks up there with Cathy Freeman's 400m Olympics win in Sydney - according to him. Does anyone know Archie overseas? Someone asked me if he played for Wests Tigers.

+xArmiento has only played 12 senior games it seems. Some young Australians are really hitting the ground running this season. Armiento has a very powerful shot.

Certainly a lot of questionable defending, but let’s face it, this is the type of game we need in this league. 9 goals in a match that had a lot of quality play by both teams brings excitement to the league, and hopefully will bring more to matches.
We may love the tension of a hard fought 1-0 win, but the general audience want to see more goals.

For context the 8 goals in the second half was the most goals scored ever in a second half of football in aleague history.
What a crazy game, and some of the goals were quality goals too so plenty in the highlights reel!

Sorry Perth but I hope United hold on. A win like this would make everyone in the stadium a fan for life.

Both sides have really struggled with defending set pieces. How many goals has there been from this?

+xI remember seeing Armiento a few season ago for Adelaide at home. He came off the bench and was causing all sorts of havoc and eventually set up the winner. And then he kinda just dissapeared and it seems like Adelaide didn’t rate him. Glad to see him really influence some matches off the bench at Perth now. Also what a match for a neatrals, perfect for the ABC game. Yeah that was the game against Brisbane when we were 3-0 down and won 4-3. Kurz game him a few games off the bench but Verbeek didn't seem to rate him and preferred Brook and Niyongabire instead.

+xMost fun I've had as a neutral in a long time! And the best thing is the VAR didn't just stuff the whole thing up.

+xArchie showing his knowledge by referring to Pierias who is a RB as a striker. He’s playing upfront today at least
