I joined this forum during last ACup in 2019. I have learnt a shit tonne in last 2 years about ALL aspects of Australian Football since then due to 99% of members having diversified input and perspectives on our beloved game. We are ALL on here for the same basic reasons. We LOVE Australian Football with a passion in some way... 👍

Its about being inclusive and we're all for the love of the game.
MCG, the game needs both sides of the leagues period.
The derailing comes from both sides as well, no need to get picky and flustered.
Just post to get it back on track and it will find its way.

There is a state league forum where NPL fans can post, but a couple of people are determined to reduce every thread into an NPL themed discussion.  It's very disappointing and adds is slowly killing the forum (probably the goal of a number of the imbeciles).

For those keen to establish a genuine football pyramid, the existence NPL supporters is a good sign - as long as we are wanting to populate the NSD with real clubs.
But if you're keen to populate the NSD with more plastic franchises....

This is why I am always sceptical of the so-called "unity" ticket.

In the Australian context, the catchcry of unity is basically a call for everyone to get behind the closed shop concept.

A genuine football pyramid is actually at the polar extreme of this sort of "unity".

See this type of discussion of calling aleague fans plastic as opposed to the NPL fans 'real' clubs or whatever that is doesnt create a positive message.

We need all football fans on the same page but if you want to call out aleague fans like that you are sending the right message out here...

How about I stop calling Aleague "franchises" plastic? Will that help with everyone's feelings?

As I written in another thread, unfortunately there are some people on here who a very bitter that there NPL side did not get into the A/L, these some people are the ones calling it plastics etc.

I thought this was a professional website covering pro leagues? thought NPL was still amateur?

The more football fans/threads/conversations in here the better.

I actually agree with a fair bit of what you have to say and am completely for South Melbourne's entry into the league (think they should have gotten in instead of Heart back in 2010) but geez it gets tiresome trawling through the walls of text between you and other posters

Yeah I tend to waffle on a bit, no arguments there. I dont purposely derail anything though, just seem that anything I post get shot down with anti ethnic shit and I take the bait and get riled up... I also think, If anyone took the time to respond to something I said, they deserve an answer.
Like you I was a lurker on here for years and used to read comments that would make my blood boil... one day I took the plunge and shit it CAN get addictive, especially how some people get really stewed up over it...
