not a good question MCG - for as you know people have issues with your owners and others alike.

As for myself, people jump up and down but how many Clubs are in similar positions all round the world with questionable owners yet turn a blind eye wishing only to see their club colours and performances.
For the suffering Toon army all they'll care about is finally Ashley is gone and hope the Club as an entity rise's from the doldrums its been in for years and years, mind you Rafa done a brilliant job wonder how it would be if he stayed on as long as Ashley gave him a little more cash injection.
One wonders what was resolved on the beIN Saudi ban for this to go through.
Its all about the money in the big picture no matter what skeletons are in the closet.
Toon army won't care they are desparate being back mid to top table.
Gonna be interesting seeing the developments, coachs mentioned is chasing BR, even Stevie G and Rafa again.
Shearer in some kind of role.

Yeah I know we’re owned by Dubai. But I don’t mind talking about I think it’s a interesting conversation to have 👍

The press on the takeover has been in overdrive since announced.
Now we wait what is to become the coming weeks.

Alot of negative comments by long time football supporters against the EPL period selling its soul, not just this takeover but the many re Clubs as a whole.
Just become the money league that it is being one of the pinniacle Leagues in the world attracts the bucks.

Arsenal and Tottenham should be done and probably liverpool once things change they are not going to be able to compete.

correct.
Sadly the professional landscape is changing too fast today.
Hence the SL issues came to hand due to the rich boys owners Club and will arise again.
Thats what will evelove in time I expect.

don't think the English FA and Gov will allow that kind of complete rich boys take over.
SL's reaction there was one the biggest against it all, players/Clubs making the noise, their Gov talked about introducing the 50+1 rule.
The 50+1 rule guards against this. In short, it means that clubs – and, by extension, the fans - hold a majority of their own voting rights. ... In essence, this means that private investors cannot take over clubs and potentially push through measures that prioritise profit over the wishes of supporters.

How do we all feel about it?

How do you feel about terrorism, censorship, murder & human rights abuses of woman & homosexuals.

The Public Investment Fund is the Saudi Arabian government who have demonstrated the above qualities extensively.  How do you feel that at the head of it all that Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has been described as a psychopath?

Fit & proper apparently. I hope every other fan base winds up Newcastle every time they play at their grounds.

Funny how this barely gets mentioned yet fans wearing Saudi head-dresses has the usual elements of the media up in arms.

Frankly speaking, the fact that NUFC was last in the Top-4 during the days of Bobby Robson and Alan Shearer worries me much more than the legality of the new owners.A Premier League football club cannot be competitive without wealthy owners. Sorry, this is the reality. Tired of watching other teams win medals and cups, while we( NU supporters) have been suffering at the bottom for the past ten years without the slightest hope for a bright future. Now we can at least start dreaming ...

from a blinded supporters viewpoint I get where your coming from.
Still doesn't excuse the type of people who are behind the scenes pulling the strings.
Its only about business - sports washing as they say today.
In saying that we invested supporters of any of the big clubs around the world the big time owners are all doing crook things in the background some worse than others.
People in power always have many ghosts in their closets.

Toons really got to turn it around to avoid relgation with all that money and pressure.
They have bought a good young Brazilain DM in Bruno Guimaraes that should free up Shelvey more to attack.
Trippier for RB is another good one.
Not much else, Kiwi Wood was a desperate striker buy, he did ok for Burnley but don't think he'll be enough x factor.
They need Callum Wilson and Maximin play out of their skins till last game if for any chance.

As we know the Putin invasion has really pushed the boundaries.
He's been forced to sell Chelsea etcetc......

One wonders IF this will bring up front and centre the sports washing issue that has been occuring and will FIFA let alone the English FA with pressure from their Gov re structure who can own football clubs in the future since this crisis has triggered alot of sactions/western company withdrawals/sposership withdrawals by many Clubs etcetcetc......

Could be a huge re set in Football Administration rulings/ownership.

I for one will welcome it and the re duction of X Clubs spending ability.
