I play for Caloundra United Seniors on the sunshine coast. So far we have won our 3 trial games, and have won the first 3 rounds of the A-division league. To be at the top of the table at the start of the season is a good result for us, as our team mostly consists of youngin's like me, with a few older guys.
Last year we had a poor start to the season, and were branded the 'easy beats' of the league, but as our team grew in confidence and ability, we began to beat almost every team in the league, fighting our way to the final, in which we proceeded to lose.

Im 37 and play sweeper/wing back with Putney Rangers (Reserve grade in the super league) in the Gladesville Hornsby Comp in Sydney. Lost two and a win so far this season. Good squad as the lads enjoy a beer/laugh cheering on our 1st Grade side, then off to the Bayview Tavern Gladesville (our sponsors) for man of the match awards for 1st & Res grade not to mention more beer.

Yeah I was, meant to quote your post but this forum can be temperemental at times. Are you sticking around after your game for any of the seniors games? A bunch of us are heading down there to have dinner and watch the games.

I coach my son's under 6 team up there, and a mate's son plays in the Cross Rivers u13s team (they're undeafeted this year - saw them beat Samford 5-3 last Saturday) and a friend of mine players for the seniors team (although he's currently got 1 more week on his red card suspension).

I Play 17A in the local Central Coast Comp for my club kincumber, we play friday nights and weve lost 2 and won 1, but one game got washed out so we have to play friday and sunday morning this week to catch up. Ive put in 2 goals in the first 3 games which is pretty good considering i scored 5 in the whole last season and one of those goals was a penalty, and i am a striker.
