However, I'd rather see prize money introduced for the Premiers, 2nd place, and 3rd place.
So there would be a prize pool and from that, 65% for Premiers, 25% for 2nd and 10% for 3rd on the ladder.
GF winner can have a trophy for their cabinet but no additional prize money. They get the share of the home GF ticket sales anyway. Just a shame that figure will now be lower if the home side is not from Sydney.
