+x+x+x2/ Can the fans 'behave' themselves. Thats the million dollar question and God I hope they can.... This thing will attract a lot of the old dickeads fromt eh past that thankfully have stayed away from NPL for 18 years.... Its up to the clubs and the members to self police and show these apostates what is and isnt acceptable.... Realistically, we know there will be some fan issues at some point. It's football, it's a given. Let's just hope nothing too serious happens in the first season. Although knowing football in this country, something will probably happen in round 1. Coz we have to shoot ourselves in the foot, hand and shoulder with every opportunity we get. As for crowd numbers, there is plenty of buzz around at the moment so it should be converted into solid numbers for the first season. Hard to say after that, but I reckon it will be considered a success at the end of the first season. We know that there is a bunch of NSL era supporters that will be attracted to attend more games gain. How many, who knows, but they are out there. T he thing about them is that they are all at least 40+ now. Most will have kids, mortgages and perpetual sore backs now. They don't have the inclination and definitely don't have the energy to wear a flag as a cape and fight someone in the car park. Most of them will be happy to just be out of the house for a couple of hours, eat some junk food and shout at the ref with an old mate. Many will be keen to take their young ones to their childhood team and pass on the tradition. This is what we are ALL banking on mate..... Yeah there will be the odd one time warrior types that will try and get tehir 15 mins of teenage hoolinagins in but the consensus is that it is up to us "the old heads" to keep them in line... Screw you for the accurate description though.... that cut a little close to the bone. lol I'm in that 40+ group now too. I gotta say, I don't care for it. This whole perpetual sore back thing sucks.

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xAnd rightfully so. Why exclude a club that is probably the best candidate from NSW into the NSD cause of a few bad apples?! Cos a few bad apples could destroy the league. Look at the damage caused by bucket boy. Fascist United also have history with fascist gangs at their club, they don’t seem to be interested in purging the fascists from their stands. In fact, the directors themselves at probably fascist, or fascist sympathisers, according to reports. Lets’s not forget the fascist chant by thousands of Fascist 58 supporters at the FFA final. FFA are never gonna come out and publicly say that Fascist United are ruled out, but they are no chance. Why not kick Melbourne Victory out then? Assaulting players isn't bad? Played down? I could only imagine if those so called fascists from Sydney united ran onto the pitch and assaulted Macarthur in the final. The club wouldn't be around anymore. Double standards.
The difference with Sydney United is they have a history of fascism and condoning fascism at their club. The fascist supporter element of their fan base has been around for a long time and doesn’t appear Fascist 58 have done much to reel it in. Even if they tried they have failed, evidenced by the Nazi salutes and thousands of supporters chanting Ustasi fascist chants. The incidents involving MV on the other hand are isolated, pertinent to a few individuals and MV are desperate to eliminate grubs from their supporter base. If you had thousands of MV supporters chanting “hell Hitler” guarantee FFA would pull their license.
Maybe 10 years ago now, I unfortunately came perilously close to this supporter element. In my workplace I had a colleague who was simply off the chain. Don't know if it was ADHD/PTSD/Deadbeat Dad or all 7 of them, but it was hearts in mouths stuff sitting at the desk next to him. Every word out of his mouth was punctuated with "jew" and "serb" and "ohmygodi'llsmashyoucnt" and was basically the exact type of dickhead element in football that we know exists for one reason: to fuck things up. When Sydney United played Bonnyrigg, he and his mates were egging me on to join them. They literally had a car boot full of flares, pyro, bats, the works, and were going to drive up from Canberra to do what they feel like they have to do. They failed. They had to submit IDs for preregistration of tickets directly with the club admin, receive approval, then they could buy them. They didn't make it through screening. Is this a club that doesn't try to stamp this out? Nope. BTW, having failed in their bid, basically every single flare in their arsenal got ripped at an FFA cup match in Canberra shortly after. At a game featuring a club none of them support. Wankers are going to wank and flares are gonna flare end of the day. Too sit back and say clubs do nothing to stamp this out would be a lie. Take your BWE v SU example, that process would turn any fan off. Rockdale did the same with their fans. Now 14,000 croats supported Sydney United in the AUS cup but they can't get 2000 each week at home, so why should the club be punished for a small group of fans? You will get bad apples in any game / club. I wonder if Penrith Panthers will get a -40 suspended sentence for their racial abuse last night? Or will it only be in the news for a day and sweep it under the rug. Months on and everyone still talks about the fascists at Sydney United Who are you even arguing with? I think SU should be in the NSD. I also think that if they cause any shit when they are, then the response should be measured. Just like any other club. I also don't think it's likely that we'd see the same FFA Cup final scenes that we did each week. Dickheads are attracted to the big match atmosphere. More attention, more desire to tear it down. My only point in all this (besides the stirring) is there is a difference between managing an existing club's issues in a league and inviting a club with clear recent issues into a NEW LEAGUE.The FA is famously risk averse and I imagine the other clubs would be too. As in with so many other unknowns for the NST, do they want this one too? When pro/rel starts between NST and NPL (after an18 year bedding in period) they can earn their spot aha BBBBOOOOOOOOOOO thats 2/10 at best mate......:P I'll take it. I was shooting for a 3 but you can't have everything. possibly as part of a road map that initially governs expansion and then, once the groundwork is laid, implementing movement BTW isnt "Beretta" an Italian brand? hahahahahahahaahah An iconic Italian made gun to be precise. Does it misfire and throw itself down on the ground when another gun is pulled on it? Its a much treasured keepsake in Greece.. Thousands of them where dropped in the mountains of Albania by fleeing Italian fascists in 1941 and they were lovingly used for hunting in the mountains of Greece for decades :) Founded in the 16th century. Still the oldest active manufactured gun in the world.

+x+xpeople celebrating their heritage is 'racist' ? forcing everyone to participate in welcome to country is not racist ? forcing Children to wear pride jerseys or not letting them play if they refuse is not discrimination ? telling people you cannot participate in the AL for almost 2 decades due to their heritage is not racist ? [even though said clubs would do a much better job at getting support for the league then new clubs WU and MAC] the suits and FA have lost their mind no wonder why the leagues interest is at all time lows the sport needs a complete revamp and everyone at the top needs the sack First 2 lines are a contradiction of each other, isn't participating welcome to country celebrating your heritage? 3rd line, totally no understanding of the pride shirts. Lost me after that. wtf you smoking who's heritage? Aboriginals and TSI make but less then 3% of the population and no club has 'First Nations' origins nor do they have a bulk of fans from that culture.... the Australia cup final is a prime example of a crowd of 16500 people i would dare say not even 20 ppl in the crowd would of been of First nation origin forcing people to take part in WTC' and for that issuing a fine for those who refused to take part in it is racist. God people who support this shit are dumb You dont need to be welcomed to your own country, fire ceremonies were a joke done by Ernie Dingo like 30 years ago and the morons thought it is was an 'actually' thing and dot paintings originated from a Dutch (or maybe French) artist they have nothing to do with traditional FN culture but you have been sold a lie to 'feel bad' for crimes anyone who migrated here in the past 80 years have nothing to do with unfortunately we have an idiot of a Prime Minister pushing this 'voice' to parliament shit so the media will push the agenda not the fact or not 'actual' history

Got to say about WTC - was there any official national media announcement this was being implemented for all sporting events ? All I noticed sometime ago the NRL started doing Welcome announcements before those heritage rounds or whatever you call them pre season and SOS recently. Did our beloved man of the moment PM make this formal ?
