+xLast minute escape for City I guess. Although it shouldn't have been that hard for a miserable team like the Roar though. Aren't you the definition of positivity

Anyone else watching this miserable game? How many missed penalties has that been this season for Maclaren?

+x+xBetween kuol, irakunda, volpato, tillio and mcgree it wouldnt surprise me if we have 5 forwards starting in big five leagues by next world cup And I hope we can start to use Boyle in the middle. Despite success in Qatar with the tough one up front (Duke was excellent) I'd like to see Boyle do well with his movement and finishing in the middle now we have all this wide talent. I'm very happy and comfortable with our stocks currently. Cheshire chat grin. Hope boyle recovers from his acl kruse and arzani were ruined by that injury. Borello only just getting back to where he was hrustic will also peak next world cup

About 10 to go, AU 2 goals up, should be good for the 3 points from here.

+x+x+x+x+xA league has been pretty good this year, imo. Certainly 100 times better than the absolute dross the NSL served up year after year. As long as you stated imo ..... How would you know? Genuine question... If you had been watching United vs city last Friday night there is no way you could have not enjoyed it as a neutral. Cracking pace, atmosphere, brilliant goals all involving young australian talent or ex/current Socceroos United in that 2nd half would have torn an arsehole through any NSL team in the history of the competition. It's not even a fair comparison I know given the professionalism etc but it's still true. I dont necessarily enjoy the breakneck speed of EPL all the time either to be honest.... I agree with this btw I find the EPL quite "meh" to watch besides the obviously appreciating the speed of handling and well taken goals. The general play to me has little intelligence about it I find. Then watching the aleague must be maddening to you

Based match by Perth battling it to the end! Wanderers haven’t won in Perth in almost 10 years, and it shows.

Normally I’d drag the cursor back to the start of the game, see what happened then go back to live but, you know, Paramount.

I think Perth will be to strong at their return at hbf. Wanderers are missing key players. Taggart has been a bit quiet since his return game and his a chance to really be the match winner tonight.
2-0

Cleur and Marcello both suspended for WSW could be a factor plus travelling to Perth is never easy. This could be the banana skin United needs from them. Will at least keep us level when we capitulate in newcastle after a big win

+x+xAll I wanted to do was to talk about Perth vs wanderers... Well go on then!!! Start the discussion. What's your prediction? Davide wrote: Spewing I won't be bale to properly watch United Saturday. At least the perth game is on after baby bed time praying for a heavy WSW loss but can't see it happening!!
posting there is a game on isn;t discussing the game. What do you expect to see? Anotehr Borello masterclass? Another Mark "have you seen my usb" Rudan sideline expolsion? Bump

It's not even a fair comparison I know given the professionalism etc but it's still true. Aleague is the same old side to side possession batshit boring probing game as many second tier countries these days... I mean United could not play more opposite to that. We play early to wide players with lightening counters. Alright I give in, Ill make it a point to watch an Adelaide game.... happy? Nah we always disappoint when the pressure is on ha ha You will inevitably watch an away game against Newcastle with no atmosphere on a bumpy pitch where we play in our shells and give up a sucker goal because we have a chance to finish top 2 and brick it then tell me we are shit. OMFG dude, could you BEEE any more Italian....... I give in to your pestering and your still not happy? hahahahahaahahahaah But yes I have the supporter mindset of a true pessimistic Italian fan who has been scarred by one too many penalty shootout and golden goal losses
