Thought I'd post this today as there has been a last minute change to the Mac/MC kick-off time due to the forecast of high temperatures.
Friday 17 Mar Adelaide United vs Wellington Phoenix Coopers Stadium @ 7:15pm (SA time) / 7:45pm (East Coast time) / 9:45pm (NZ time)
Saturday 18 Mar Brisbane Roar vs Western United Kayo Stadium @ 4:00pm (QLD time) / 5:00pm (East Coast time)
Newcastle Jets vs Perth Glory McDonald Jones Stadium @ 5:00pm (East Coast Time) / 2:00pm (WA time)
Sydney FC vs Western Sydney Wanderers Allianz Stadium @ 7:45pm
Sunday 19 Mar Melbourne Victory vs Central Coast Mariners AAMI Park @ 5:00pm (note this game will now be on FTA)
Macarthur FC vs Melbourne City Campbelltown Stadium @ 7:00pm (note new kick-off time, also game will no longer be on FTA)

Thread title should say Round 21. If there are any mods here, the change would be greatly appreciated.

CCM game too of course though not in that specific contest itself. United slip here and WSW and Mariners get up there will be 4 teams in equal second place. That's crazy

I didn't hear the city game getting rescheduled.
The a league isn't a lot of things but what it is is unpredictable and that's why I watch.
You expect Adelaide to outclass nix at home
The other games not to sure. We should be able to beat bulls but last week wasn't our best match. Mariners beating victory at home when's the last time that happened?
Marcelo in for WSW should give them the edge

And utter bulls*** from the Smurfs, they are are appealing the 2nd game ban for Max Burgess. I know that serious foul play and violent conduct red cards in Football NSW game are both automatic 2 games for a first offence and longer for a second instance for the same player in the same season.

Also, multiple suspensions possible with number of players on 4 yellow cards as well as Risdon on 7 yellows.

Due to extreme weather in Sydney this Sunday, three fixtures across the A-League Men's & A-League Women's have had their kick-off times pushed back. Details: https://bit.ly/3YSlbFL#WeAreALeagues

+xwill the roos play for their clubs this weekend? Yeah. Good is this first game is a Friday giving that bit more time instead of the Thursday and Tuesday slot. Friday is good for fans yet neutrals might be on the NRL. Apparently Melbourne game is nearly sold out. I expect Commbank to be full.

+xwill the roos play for their clubs this weekend? That got me curious so had a quick look Looks like the a-league has a break over the international window. I remember the league decided they would do this but it's still so damn good to see. Would have been horrible missing Goodwin Gauci and Irankunda for a gem or two ie. being punished for success Though to be fair Gauci must be close to being dropped and he is pretty lucky the league will stop as I think it would have been a good excuse to put Delianov in and see what happens. Poor Delianov. Clearly was our first choice before that injury. An injury that was avoidable and I'm still upset the attacker didn't get a card for it. Against Wellington actually.

Every time I have expected less this season we have reached 10k So now that I expect it we will randomly get 8k aha I can't go tonight and I'm pretty annoyed about it but luckily we have a few home games left. Irankunda slated to start the game which is going to be very interesting . A whole different ball game to being a super sub

Irankunda looked a bit downcast at the end- may have picked up an injury.
Too much hype heaped on a young player's shoulders- not good.

The West Australian's Joel Gould reports that Robbie Kruse has injured his knee and is out pretty much for the season, and that the Roar have suffered a major blow to they're campaign. Joel is obviously stupid and or naive.. Kruse is a walking injury who has played all of seven minutes for the Roar. He has not been part of they're campaign for them to have suffered a blow.

Football is full of irony. He's done well, and his team has 2 goals but he's got neither. His all round play has been fantastic.

He'll probably only see 20min against Ecuador. This type of opponent is better for his game. His Australia matches so far were against bus parkers and he needs a team also trying to attack to get the space where he can run.

Yengi is fitter and sharper than Garang at the moment I think. Our comfortable depth has skyrocketed.
The issue is some guys will get the odd cap in Asia and it's just one bad game where they then get written off. Compared to other nations we don't play as much. If we can sneak the odd A league and Asia Roos squad to play AFC squads made up of domestic players, it'd be good exposure. I hope we're coming out of the fewer games notion and we'll have two at least every window.

What nice goal by Nieuwenhoff! On the plane for the Olyroos but surely has to be into the first team next window. It's so so tight for places. Irvine's leadership at the WC is invaluable and I think the old guard still need to hang around a bit to help the next gen through the Asia away environment, but for how long?

Dougall and Jeggo could come in but we've named 26 and don't need an extra. Keep it local and invite Thurgate along to train. Niuewenhof already has a ticket to the U23 camp.

The two games I watched tonight had lots of good football. Missing out on a win due to a last second equaliser must be hard for the die hard supporters of Newcastle. I'm a Wanderers fan but on the run of play it wasn't a 4-0 game but each of their goals were well taken and Sydney couldn't finish their chances. On another day it could have been a lot closer.

Disagree with this, it was an absolute shellacking and the worst Sydney fc performance since frank farina was in charge. Wanderers were several classes above us on Saturday night. We looked rattled from the start with the wanderers press and speed that they moved the ball foward. At the half time whistle, many Sydney players were on knees. They couldn't keep up. Ive felt like this scoreline has been coming our way for a long long time.

Seeing WSW playing great in the few weeks whilst Sydney FC regress to the mean especially without Max Burgess show they look an mediocre team after a promising start with their football.
So I wasnt surprised by the WSW win and even the scoreline, WSW were simply too good.
Quite fitting to see Nieuwenhof and Simmons play great games for WSW, especially Nieuwenhof who has gone into the next level as a player to score in front of the club that let him go is some poetic justice for him and the talented young players they have let go in the last few years too. Is Sydney FC the worst club to manage talented young players in the league?
WSW are looking good and exclude last week's loss against Perth because they were very unlucky not to win that I think they can finish top 2.
Borrello is playing some great football and fully deserving of a NT call up too.

agreed sfc1987, within moments from koff you could sense it was going to be all WSW, Borello leading might I add running down/pressing like a rabbit and it kept going that way. SFC we're slow or more so WSW wanted it 500% more, the divide wanting the ball was chalk and cheese. Corica still don't know how this lasts, the players he had under his current tenure enjoyed rubbing his nose in it I'm sure. SFC so many shots to no where, the stats don't reflect what the rhythem and desire was on the pitch.

Looking ahead to the final round, it has the potential to be massive. We have the current top 4 all playing each other in the final round (AU vs CCM) and (MC vs WSW). I reckon MC should have tied up the plate by then, but you never know and it could come down to that final game, especially with the results AU have been achieving. Then at the other end we have (MV vs BR) and (PG vs WU), either game could be the wooden spoon decider. Then in the middle we have (Mac vs Nix) and (SFC vs NJ). That SFC game has the potential to be the last for Corica. They are currently in the worst form in the league with only 1 win and 1 draw from the last 5. Missing finals for two season straight would surely be the nail in the coffin for Corica. If it is, I reckon they will sign Talay.

+xLast week saw CCM for the first time this season, play Victory. It was a good standard. CCM's worst performance of the season.Mind you Victory were not much better-pressed well but ruined many good chances to score with poor passing.Mariners midfield was totally outplayed -could not hold the ball, poor passing options and very laboured ball movement.
